so i just had an epiphany memory of rpf that i used to engage in back in 2012.
i used to ship Skrillex (Sonny Moore) and Deadmau5 (Joel Zimmerman)
like 100% seriously.
i WROTE it.
friend ship suddenly turned up on tv and i had a huge epiphany revisiting this part of the scene...
that last part... i just think that pearl might've also referred to her and pink/rose. aside from her being a servant pearl, and rose/pink being a diamond, there's also a bit of context in the second part of what she said. "you're the perfect relationship," pearl had said. it could've indicated how she was jealous of ruby and sapphire's perfect couple relationship bcs her relationship with rose wasn't perfect. it was messy and complicated, and the hierarchy of their gems all the more messed things up. pearl probably wanted to feel what it was like to be part of a perfect match, for once. T_____T
