I'm late but I think that your specialty as a fanfiction writer is... oh man how do I even describe this? Reliability? Consistent quality? Basically just that I know I'll be getting a good fic when it's written by you. You always do justice to all the characterizations imo. Not necessarily that they act as their canon selves, because sometimes a fic requires otherwise, but that you always set them up so that their actions make sense. You plop down foundations for plot and development and just build on them so beautifully in a way that flows so naturally and I just- wow. You're just so good at writing a story. Beginning to end, nothing ever feels out of place or unnecessary. You set things up so well! Oh and don't even get me started on your fluff, angst, h/c, etc. Whichever you write, it always hits in just the right ways. I don't need to tell you your angst is freaking world-class, you already know that. But I think it's worth mentioning that you also write fantastic fics outside of angst. Your fluff makes my heart go boom boom. Anyways, idk! I just... your specialty is straight up being able to write a solid, well-rounded fic all around, whether it's a one-shot, long fic, angst, fluff, or anything in between. You're really talented, Ely!

HEY GUYS!

so i started writing a fic, called One Hit Kill (Sir, This Is Laser Tag)

it’s sort of a manhunt fic with bits of dsmp, all mashed up into a laser tag au. characters will feature your beloved dream team/muffinteers, sbi, misferns, and more :D i’m aiming to make it crack treated somewhat seriously, with action and possibly fluff (read: found family) tossed in. and knowing me, there’s a 99% chance there will be hurt/comfort at some point. i’m really excited for this fic, so come along for the ride!

i didn’t wanna put the entire first chapter (which is what i’ve got so far) on tumblr because this post would get really long, so i’ve decided to just post a snippet instead. there’s a link to the ao3 at the bottom (and above), if you’d like to see what happens next.

1: guns, and kids, and so the balance shifts

It's a pretty normal day when they come, to be honest. Eret's sitting at the front desk, tapping a pen up and down while their foot bounces double-time, eyes unseeing as they stare at the POG Laser Tag logo bouncing around the computer in front of them. He sighs and pushes away from the desk, the chair's wheels squeaking as they roll over the tiled floor. Just another day, in an empty laser tag venue. That isn't to say they never get customers, just...not quite as often as he'd perhaps prefer.

Eret pulls out his phone and scrolls through his notifications, when a ding at the door grabs their attention. She snaps her head up to see three people—teenagers probably, but he's not too sure—walk in. Stuffing the phone away in one of their many pockets as they stand up to face the group, Eret smiles and says, "Hi! Welcome to Paramount Order Games Laser Tag!"

The tallest of the three steps forward, and Eret realizes they're wearing a mask over their face with a simple smiley face on it. A little bit strange, but it is almost Halloween, so Eret supposes it's really not that strange at all. He’s always wearing sunglasses, anyways, so who is he to judge?

"Hi," the kid says, pulling Eret out of their thoughts, "we'd like to play laser tag for a couple hours." He pauses awkwardly. "You guys take walk-ins, right?"

"Yep," Sam pops the p as he emerges from the backroom, evidently having heard the bell ring. "Just fill out a couple forms for us, ok? Then go through that door right there." He points at the door on the side wall, labeled EQUIPMENT. "I’ll be waiting for y’all."

The kid turns to look at his friends, then shrugs. "Sure," one of them says, the one with the headband. Eret plucks the necessary paperwork from a stack on the desk and slides three waivers towards the kids. They fill out all the blanks and Eret waves them through to the door Sam pointed out earlier.

"Can't believe we've never come here before," the masked kid says as they walk away. The headband kid laughs. "I know right? I've definitely passed by this place like, a million times, on my way to practice."

"Have fun," Eret calls after them. He turns his attention back to the monitor and nudges the mouse to get the blocky screensaver to disappear, opening up the cameras to watch the kids enter the arena. Sam did a good job setting up the arena this time, they think with a twinge of pride. Let's see how this goes.

Het perspectief van de kunstenaar brengt nogal verschillende artistieke intenties naast en met elkaar. Maar 1 ding gemeen: de site.

De site geeft een uniek karakter.

// Het eeuwige: de zee, de geschiedenis, de toekomst , de stad in volle ontwikkeling,...

Een dichter, fotograaf, schilder, beeldhouwer en filmman tonen hun kijk via hun werk. Het werk staat binnen maar reflecteert wat er zich buiten afspeelt.

Actuele Kunst vanuit verschillende perspectieven. Romantisch terugblikken op een moment, de natuur als oerkracht, illustreren van een utopisch samenleven , een zelfportret door autobiografisch weergave, tijdreizen van vroeger naar nu. Bloed zweet en tranen van de dichter en filmmaker.

Wie er welke kijk op nahoudt, valt door de bezoeker van deze tentoonstelling te ontdekken.
