@ohkoh shows that it is possible to detach your own feelings and see the situation objectively. They recognize sexualization as it is without getting worked up over the creators (though I do understand Atlus has a history of it, which I think is fueling emotions the most) nor do they adopt a cynical attitude.
So yes, character designs often contain a level of sexual appeal that is intentional. You are free to choose to accept or not accept it. What Koh does differently is focus their energy into answering "How can I improve these characters?" and present their ideas without trying to stir up controversy.
At the end of the day, it is completely up to you on how you express your opinions and Koh can express the same point of "teenage characters are often sexualized" without assuming the worst in their readers.
(Extra note to add, part of what makes Koh's redesigns so well received is that they take their traits, their personality, other parts of their character into consideration to make a non-sexual design that's still faithful to the original.)
