RIB CAGE CRAFT Okay I'm cheating. This was done by QR in school. He was very proud of it and it is a cute craft to share right? Haha. PETAL PAINT COLLAGE We used the flower stems and coloured water from our rainbow flower experiment to do some painting. I loved it but QR was done within 5 minutes 😅 The addition of glitter glue only bought me an extra 3 minutes or so. Oh well, I'm happy he tried at least. . . COLOURED PAPER TOWELS We used pipettes and the coloured water from our rainbow flower experiment to colour the paper towels. 🍃🌸NATURE CROWN 👑 I saw this gorgeous idea on @imaginationtree 'a blog and decided to try it since we got lucky on our neighbourhood nature walk yesterday. Ok, I have been staring intently at trees, leaves, flowers while walking lately just to see if there are any treasures I can pick. 😅 We managed to find pink, orange and yellow flowers! Some fully intact ones too! . . Q and I were both delighted with it. He used it as a crown, put his face through it to pretend to be a flower and as a flower superhero mask! Great way for young children to explore the plants without destroying them. CHIRRI AND CHIRRA This is a gorgeous book with the prettiest illustrations. The tiny details are clues to what's about to come in the following pages it's like a Easter egg hunt! We used a magnifying glass to check out the tiny details & talked about living in harmony with the plants and animals like Chirri and Chirra.
