Where would you be if you never met Kurt?
Oh, wow.
That’s a pretty big question. Do you mean emotionally? Physically? Or both? I guess … I mean, there’s a pretty decent chance I’d have still been at Dalton with the Warblers if I’d never met Kurt. I want to say I’d be happy and I mean - I think I would have been, as happy as could be but …
I was pretty lonely before I met Kurt.
Don’t get me wrong, I had some wonderful friends and was a part of a popular Glee Club, doing what I loved but I didn’t really have anyone to share things with. Kurt was the first person I’d met who wasn’t afraid to be who he was, even when things were really hard for him at school.
He was proud of who he was and in a lot of ways he reminded me that it was okay to be the person I was inside. That my being gay and being chased out of school for it didn’t mean I’d never find acceptance. I’d still be Blaine, without Kurt, I just don’t know if I’d have been as confident as I am now, without him.
