“you’re loud.” not necessarily a criticism, boba is just observing things. he’s not used to being around adults who feel the need to half-yell every other word. bare feet tap against the ship’s metal floor as boba beelines to the first mate’s chair before anyone else can take it. “were you calling aurra?”

his head cants to one side, something devious lights up in his eyes. there are some answers he’s too young for, but there are also some questions he can ask only because he’s young: “ — what’s the deal between you two anyways?”

        PAPERS ARE HELD IN HIS HANDS,  comparing receipts and orders, when two catch his eye enough to bring up to his boss. ❝ hondo, i was looking over the last few, um, shipments, and it looks like someone didn’t deliver. or at least didn’t deliver what was agreed upon. ❞

SHE’S NOT SURE HOW SHE CAME TO THIS POSITION ; perhaps there was some sort of honor among thieves that she was unaware of ( thought she’s technically not a thief ) . gabby’s legs swing back and forth as she sits atop a mysterious crate aboard the weequay’s ship , patiently waiting for her arm to slowly grow back . her directive had been clear . terminate the target and return to base . target was ... in custody . sort of . and now she was on a detour .

technically they didn’t tell her not  to save any outliers . so could gabby really get in trouble for this if she still came back to base ?  she hopes not . she liked the one liners the guy belted out so it would’ve SUCKED if he died . hand that remains presses a latch on her helmet , sliding the dark away to reveal her youthful face . ❝ thanks for letting me chill here while this -- ❞ gabby exclaims cheerfully , waving the grotesque stump , ❝ -- grows back . it’s a little hard to fly a ship on my own without it . should be finished in an hour or so though !  ❞
