Silverspot looked up briefly from his place on the couch with his pint of ice cream, “Hi.”
“Man, I need some better gear.”
A lone Hunter shuffled along through the buried city, wind whipping at her cloak. Whirlwinds of dust and sand skimmed over ruined vehicles and panels torn from the buildings above long ago as though there was nothing at all in their paths; watching this, Allyssa decided she can relate. Or, she wanted to. Her Ghost almost got lost in one such whirlwind and proceeded to grumble about it.
“Why are we even here, again?”
“Don’t know,” Allyssa shrugs, “but dude, my armor sucks.” She grabs one foot with both hands and hops around on the other for emphasis, grimacing at her ghost despite her helmet concealing her features.
“’Don’t know?’ You don’t even know why we’re here? We don’t have a directive? Oh, Light. Did you even think to ask?”
Allyssa merely pushes her Ghost into another whirlwind and continues to plod heavily across the main plaza, halfheartedly scanning for signs of life.
There’s another explosion, and a Warlock slides out of the way towards a crumpled figure left sitting on the ground. She rises to her feet, dancing away from a Thrall’s swipe before throwing up a handful of flame. As it crumbles to dust, she holds out her hand to the reawakening Guardian, hopeful that they will jump right back into the fray. Since she’s something of a Medic, she could wrap up their wounds, but now isn’t a great time.
Over the sound of gunfire, she shouts to her injured ally in hopes of rousing them, readying herself to jump at them and drag them away should the situation call for it. She’d really rather not, though, and cringes at the sight of Hive rushing towards them.
“Hey! Goodmorning sunshine, the stars say hello! We’re about to get crushed by a Knight, hop on up! Please!”
so for the five of you that liked that starter call, ill try to get out a few later!! since there are several of you i might just make two separate starters and you guys can choose which one(s) you wanna respond to? depends on if im really feeling like writing!! if so, i might do individual ones, we’ll have to see.

“And you know that somethin’ in your brain ain’t right”
“You know you would think that I’m crazy enough to come after you after seeing you run around here.” He paused looking at the other. “I guess, I am crazy.”

"Everyone pipe down!" someone shouted. "Hold the line!"
The shouting from a couple of other Guardians died down. Laine grimaced and reloaded her auto rifle, ignoring the bleeding on her arm. She had no idea why the Hive had decided to attack this particular outpost, in the Sea of Rains on the Moon. All she knew is that she had to protect it at all costs. There were civilian scientists inside, and she'd be damned if she let the wretched Hive get them.
