hikaru and kaoru writing that cringy love letter is to be expected but kyouya too?! i keep forgetting this fact no matter how many times ive rewatched it and it still cracks me up so bad.

what if hikaru and kaoru dictated the contents of the letter and he wrote it cause at least kyouya's penmanship is more readable than the twins' and the twins just decorated it with the hearts and everything

imagine kyouya, straight faced, just writing whatever the twins instructs him to write. it took them a few repeat cause "kyouya senpai you have to write the o's as a heart! and end every sentence with a heart! that's how you write a love letter. we know so!"

Me: *sees this scene again*

Me: (Internally, every time) *seeing/ thinking about Kyoya's dad*

I rewatched OHSHC

And I have a single thought

to share about it.

This anime was one of the first I ever watched, and it just now hits me; I'm so fucking gay. Like damn, looking back at it now, I wanted to attend Lobelia so badly. And watching them interact with Haruhi- I need a freak like that.

Also, I can't believe I used to ship Mori and Honey, I forgot they were cousins omg... and this show has some very problematic content... oh well

this scene and convo between kaoru and kyouya just makes so much sense when thinking about the manga istg because the dummy they are talking about isnt only hikaru but also tamaki.

hikaru and tamaki did develop feelings to haruki (obviously) but it took both of them so, so long before they even realize it. to accept it and make a move on it even.

iirc (please correct me if im wrong. its been a while since i read the manga) hikaru was the one who realized his feelings first and it is not easy. kaoru had also struggled at the same time i think because of twin things (i cant remember exactly but i remember crying about the twin sprout panel) and that affected hikaru too

tamaki struggled to realize (accept(?)) that he's fallen in love with haruki because he internalized that the club is a family, his family. this was hinted in that halloween episode as well, with the carrage and tamaki driving it. and to disrupt that by realizing (making a move about his feelings) he likes haruhi, would disrupt that peace and their family would crumble. it didnt help that honey and mori is nearing their graduation as well (again, iirc).

will get back and edit this once i reread the manga lololol
