Makarov aggressively cleaning and tending to Nolan's (light) wounds despite Nolan's protests that "it hurts" "are you trying to make it worse?" "I already said I'm sorry—" but they fall on deaf ears because Makarov's mad as FUCK and neither of them comment on the trembling hands because it was too close of a call for Makarov's liking and for a second he genuinely thought he lost Nolan and now that he has him alive and safe under his hands he's overwhelmed with mixed emotions because he wants to punch Nolan in the face and kiss him stupid and take care of his wounds and then punch him in the face again all at once
