Woah, I just saw your post on if a human can outrun a werewolf and it was so cool! Do you happen to have any advice for someone who is writing a story with werewolves in it? A story with vampires, humans and werewolves fighting each other? Would the werewolves win every fight? Thanks!

Oh gosh, do I ever. I could talk endlessly about writing werewolves in fiction. I do have a post here you may find useful, too. I might do more posts in the future about this topic, and in more detail, instead of so vague (since all of these things are so situational, with context required, etc.).

Me? I’d say the werewolves would very often win, yes. ;) I am also very biased. But, generally, werewolves are incredibly underpowered in popular culture, and I think that needs to change. I’d say a werewolf would win against most any vampire or human in a fair fight, but both of them could utilize certain weaponry, traps, and whatnot to take the werewolves down. To me, each individual werewolf is worthy of basically being a “boss fight,” and sometimes an unwinnable one - especially when the werewolf is still in werewolf form!

I also always like to say that werewolves are best left “killable” when they’re in human form. Facing a werewolf in their bestial form is just… crazy.

IMO, that’s a big thing that helps keep them scary, instead of werewolves feeling like throwaway monsters that aren’t really a threat.

Oh this is difficult to answer with Fire Emblem since most pairings in recent games are variable. Still, there tends to be at least strong suggestions in favor of one or more pairings in the games, so they are “technically canon”. And well, most of them would count for this.

I find a number of them cute (MarthxCaeda as a definitive canon one, EliwoodxNinian), but honestly don’t ship any. Most of the time I am not a big fan of the main lords anyway, Micaiah and Dimitri being exceptions. I usually just nod and move on when I see one, completely indifferent.
