it’s really important and interesting to me that the first facial expression the creature tries to make is the giant Medusa’s expression of disgust and horror. i can’t explain quite how but it just really is something to me. like from a point of position, in that scene she seems disgusted by him specifically, and he doesn’t know it at all. he’s just completely unaware of anything other than the fact that she’s making a face he’s never seen, and mimics her out of a basic curiosity. I havent even finished watchinf the whole thing yet but ive been giggling at the constant switch between Zam tryinf her very hardest to stay in character and also have an accent and then mutingn immediately and screaming like shes at a heavy metal concert so i decided to draw her

dude at first i was reallt nervous but im actually very satisfied and happy with this design. it was fun searching up 1930s coats to use as vague referendes and im very. happy with this. actually. although she did NOT end up like how i imagined but thats okay because i like her a lot and i will be drawinf Princess Skyla crashing out at every minor inconvenience soon enough
