Bay of Plenty, Okere Falls - I was fascinated by the overlap between Maori and Igbo. Okere is a common Igbo name, and 'Ka' means 'like/similar' in both Igbo and Maori. Our next stop was Tauranga for lunch before reaching Okere Falls where there were some very brave people white water rafting and we headed through a rock corridor to reach a cave before continuing on to Rotorua. Here we are staying at the Sudima Hotel with a massive bed each. Tonight we ate at Ciccio's where I ate some gorgeous pasta. Early night for us - Hobbiton awaits tomorrow!!!!!!
