Sipping and Giving
Several weeks ago, we meet up with our pals at Keep it Local OK to come up with some sort of cool gift idea for our Black Friday coffee service from EVOKE's all new Sip Truck. We wanted something fun to give away to those that came to get their coffee from the coffee truck and decided that we'd print some cool mugs to give away.
Chris at Keep it Local got to work on a cool design, we ordered them and got pumped to give them away on Black Friday. Well, we had a bit of a shipping issue and they ended up not arriving until after Black Friday.
What we now had was 140 or so cool mugs that said "Black Friday 2014" sitting in the office, all dressed up with nowhere to go. So, we thought - what could we do with them?
Our decision was to sell them for $5.00 and give all proceeds (100%) to OK Foster Wishes. Before we go on, we want to introduce you to OK Foster Wishes.
OK Foster Wishes links the community with opportunities to support, serve and connect with Oklahoma’s children affected by abuse, neglect and abandonment. Here is a quick stat on the number of foster kids in the foster car program in Oklahoma:

11,400 kids as of the beginning of the year. That's too many. We want to help make these numbers go the other direction and we would love for you to join us! As of TODAY, we have sold 48 of the 140 or so mugs that we printed and have $240 that will be going to this group to give to these kids. We want to sell all of them that we have left! Our goal is to hand over around $700 to them just from the sale of these mugs. But there are other ways to join us! Here is how:
1. Buy the mug (what this email is all about) at EVOKE in Downtown Edmond. You can purchase one any day of the week between 7a and 7p. Again, $5 and every cent goes to OK Foster Wishes
