Hi anyone who is still here! 💚 I’m alive, just struggling. Without trauma dumping, I’m going through some shit. I’ve been thinking about my sims, the story I had laid out in my head and some of the people I loved interacting with on here. I’ll likely come back because sims is always going to be a game I come back to even after a break but idk, I just wanted to post something bc I’ve been MIA.

Hi are you still using sumahama reshade preset and if you are did you make any tweaks to it. Or are you using a different preset?

I do! It's definitely my favorite! I've tweaked things a little, but not too much. Honestly I don't remember what the original setting were but here's the things I have toggled and their settings. (under the cut so this isn't super long on ppls dash lol) OH and my editing process, other things that help my screenshots are in my resource page. <3

hi so I want to start posting on Tumblr with sims content and I just found your blog and think it's really y cute do you have any tips for people to see my stuff and interact with my posts/follow me? thank you

Hiiii! Welcome to simblr :) There are tons of posts on here that other people have written with super in depth responses that go into the tagging system, things like that. I really just tag my photos with the same few things, only adding story tags if I post about my story so ppl can find them easily.

So the first blog I'd recommend is https://simblrhelp.tumblr.com/ they haven't posted in a while BUT you can find some good things on there still.

And I guess any tips from me (and this is just how I am, this doesn't reflect everyone.) But I usually follow everyone back, the only reason I wouldn't follow someone is if they post/reblog a ton of nonsims content without using the "nonsims" tag. I pretty much want my dashboard to be like 98% sims content lol. Obviously if you post something nonsims here or there it's FINE. Everyone does but if you spam the dashboard every day I'll likely not follow. And the only other thing (besides if I notice ur a minor) that I'll not follow or unfollow for is if you just reblog things with no original content. It's not that I think ur blog is bad and I urge you to reblog people's content you like, but I don't want to follow like 100 blogs that only reblog and I see the same post like 200 times on my dash, you know? lol

Another tip (easier said than done, I know) but just enjoy what you post. If you only get like 1-2 likes, don't let it get to you. We all like to see people engaging with our posts, but like truly just have fun posting and be creative with it, the engagement will come... or not but don't let it effect you mentally. That is what will make playing become a chore and it won't be fun for you anymore.
