One of my problems with Oklahoma (1955) is that Will gets with Ado Annie instead of me.

Okay, but seriously, it's a great musical and I might possibly have a crush on Will. Curly is also hot, but it's Gordon McRae and he's just an incredibly attractive man.

The movie does leave out some important parts, and usually I'd recommend the 1999 revival, but that's not as fitting for this blog. (Though the 1999 revival does also have a hot Curly. It's Hugh Jackman.)

If you do watch it PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE promise me you're not going to say Curly is the real bad guy and Judd did nothing wrong 😭 this seems to be more common with people who watched the 2019 revival, but I do think some people come away from the movie thinking that. Yes, Curly does bad things but if Judd was real he'd be an incel*
