I want someone to take me on a good old fashioned date. Ask me out. Come pick me up. Bring me flowers. Open the car door for me. Hold my hand in the car. Pull out my chair for me. Pay for dinner. Offer me a night cap. Kiss me goodnight, a little too long. Text me when you get home and say you had a wonderful time. I’ll say I did too, thank you for a great evening. I sleep and dream of your kiss. I wake up in the morning greeted by your flowers and the lingering smell of your cologne on my clothes from the night before.
