old magnets. Bf and I love these thifted find. And now our fridge is interesting.
I opened a drawer in the old credenza we’ve owned for *years*, and out fell this beautiful little watercolor painting dated more than 100 years ago
This has just been sitting in that liminal space in the depths of that furniture for over 100 years and now I feel like I’ve found a secret message from the past 🕰️
Someone’s grandma was very talented 💜
lookie at my new stockings I got with sissy in december!!! I forgots all about dese! 0.0 Aren’t dey so so so super duper cute!?!?!?
Found another oldie. For some reason, I did this really lightly when I had made this, so it's a little hard to see
Back then, and still to this day, I went with the idea that all the music men are self conscious about their smiles (though the wind-ups are the least compared to the others). More specifically being when both rows are completely visible.
They just have these giant gaping mouths with rows of teeth that could most surely and badly crush your hand if you tried messing with them, or that could hurt someone on accident. It depends. Considering they're one of the more humanoid animatronics, too, it just makes them seem more unnerving to a lot of people, like a human constantly and widely baring their teeth.
So they mostly go with the cartoony look of showing just one row of teeth so people are more comfortable around them, usually only letting themselves show both rows when they trust certain people who won't be freaked out.
