“It’s a herbivore so it’s not going to eat us, don’t be silly.” shook his head, “Probably best if we stay inside in case it tramples us or feels threatened, but it’s not going to eat us.”

❝ —— Okay run that by me AGAIN… ❞
Her lips pulled up into a small smirk as she passed the drink to her waiting customer.
“What? Don’t tell me you’re jealous…”
Danica leaned forward, folding her arms lightly against the bar. “Believe me, I want to do nothing more than talk to you all night, but its not fair to the other customers.” There was a mischievous gleam in her eye. “But maybe later…”
He gave a harsh chuckle. “Friends? I got enough friends.” If the vampires he lived with could be called that. But what did it matter? He wasn’t looking for new pals to… pal around with.
Taran crumpled up the empty Cheetos bag and tossed it toward a nearby trash can. It missed, bouncing off the rim and skittered across the ground. "If you don't believe me, I could give them a call." He grinned, flashing his fangs. "They'll fuckin' eat you alive."
“Do you ever tell the truth?” Her patience wore thin where lies were concerned and it showed on her face. Weariness did too. The dark circles beneath her eyes gave testament to long, sleepless nights. The last thing Grace wanted now was to play this game.
"Just... be honest with me."
“It’s okay,” she said, checking the scratch.
Though she’d been hurt, the wound was superficial. Shallow, only bleeding a bit, though the rust-scent of blood spiked the air. As a werewolf, Grace could heal fast. In less than half an hour, the wound would be nothing but a memory.
“Everything’s alright. See?”
Palace of the Besadii Kajilic, Nar Shaddaa, Hutt Space ...
Someone had cracked open the Spice. Some sort of Ryll mix from the smell, though Thera made sure she didn’t stay long enough to get too much of a whiff. Aside from the fact that she despised the stuff, she didn’t need anything fogging up her mind - this may have been a party, but she was also well aware of her position as the Hutt’s favoured bodyguard and what she might be needed to do.
Add in that if even if her duties weren’t directly required there were any number of aspiring killers and thugs who would just adore the chance to topple her from her place and take it from her. Or simply ... topple her, for another reason altogether. Either way, although she might have a drink or two she couldn’t afford to let anything dull her thinking.
She was already on her way back toward her boss when there was some sort of disturbance near the main doors; a new guest, and perhaps an unexpected one. Thera kept her measured pace, shifting skirts baring her legs with each stride. She stepped up onto the dais and settled on one of the padded seats, looking like just another of the pretty trinkets a Hutt Lord kept, and waited to see who arrived.
“Where the hell is Jeff Goldblum when you need him?”
