Who Remembers (CB)
Can i challenge your Care Bears knowledge for a second?
Who's aware of this?
This was a PSA TV special produced by a local news station in Chicago back in 1985 called Care Bears: Be A Safe Kid.
Obviously this was meant to teach children about stranger danger, but it's interesting to know that even The Care Bears got in on the PSA craze of the 1980's, let alone the fact that something like this exists.
It's a hidden gem to say the least and in many ways, worth a watch.
Also talk about uncommon seeing Secret Bear and Grams Bear together.
Same person who sent in the thing about Faye scamming as balljointedbunny. A cursory search has found the original PSA deleted completely :/
I did find a second PSA on Faye specifically. And oh look, there’s painted porcelain and others mentioned on here in this TH thread.

Thank you, Anon. It's linked below, but I want point out that this situation has been marked as resolved by OP.

Have y’all seen the new 3D model for scruff McGruff?
It makes me sad :(
I remember a commercial I saw as a kid. It was some kind of PSA - I don't remember what it was for, but what sticks in my mind is that it was about a little girl holding a balloon in a crowded carnival at night, anxiously waiting for someone (sibling or parent) and looking around, and the implication that the little girl was alone and wouldn't get to enjoy the carnival because whoever she's waiting for never comes always pops into my head every now and then and makes me really sad.

And now we understand why there was such a backlash against disco in the States. There was just no escaping it.
