I just noticed the other day that my artwork has been seen by over 3.2 million viewers. Even if you throw out a million bots, that is still a fair amount of people. When I was in grade school I would doodle on my notebooks, draw wild people in cars like Ed Roth’s stuff. I also received my first camera and turned the bathroom into a part time darkroom. I was off to a life of creating art. I’ll be 69 years old tomorrow. Unbelievable how fast your life flys by. I’m creating now more than ever and plan to keep it up until it’s my time to go. I want to thank every teacher, my family and friends who encouraged me along the way. I greatly appreciate everyone at Fine Art America for everything you do for me and millions of other artists. I went to a creative conference recently. It was so fun to be in the room with a whole lot of makers and artists. One of the many things I learned was to keep showing new art to people. So, I’ve added a link above to see ‘Today’s Featured Art’ although it’s really more like ‘This Week’s Featured Art’ 😂because I need to get off Instagram and get some painting done. Seriously though, I don’t paint daily but if I did, it would be a fun way to show the painting of the day. ‘Sea Breeze’ will be featured here for a week or so, ‘cuz I know myself well enough to know that I’ll never remember to change it every day. #oldartist #artistproblems #itsallgood

Another from around 1998. Color pencil on black paper. Again, this is a prelim drawing used for a screen print design. I would refer to this as I hand-stippled the color separations on vellum using tech pens. . #oldart #oldartist
