My version of Pierrot Le Fou (Mad Pierrot / Loco Pierrot) for Cowboy Bebop theme of the Character Design Challenge for May. I wanted to make a version of him in the past, so I worked on a Victorian Age version as suggested ideas in the challenge guidelines, with old weapons and tried to ressemble an old painting style. Also tried to add a little details from the original Pierrot from the french theatre / italian comedy, that had a white and black dress. He is my fave character from the anime! I hope you like it 😁 Swipe to see process pictures and some sketches 👀➡️➡️➡️ . . . @characterdesignchallenge #CDChallenge #characterdesignchallenge #CowboyBebop #characterdesign #characterdesignquarterly #MadPierrot #Pierrot LeFou #LocoPierrot #Pierrot #frenchtheatre #italiancomedy #victorianage #victorianera #oldpainting #anime #ForeverZeroDragon #SebF (en Rosario, Santafe Argentina) https://www.instagram.com/p/CPwfWzdDk1h/?utm_medium=tumblr
This was my very first oil painting. I did it about 7 or 8 years ago, when I was 14 years old. 😃 My father isn’t a big artist but he like to experiment with abstract art sometimes. He tried to do a Rothko and since he had a lot of paint left, which he gifted to me. He also bought me an easel, some brushes and canvases at that time. So I just took everything, went outdoors and painted the sheep run that was on the other side of the street and visible from our house. 😁 I also remember that I’ve got a book about Bob Ross’ painting techniques just a few months before that to my birthday, so I have my best to try them out. Half a year later there was a public exhibition in Rostock, just as every year. All citizens from the near surroundings are allowed to exhibit their art there and my father ended up bringing my painting there. So this was something like my first exhibition 😄😊 Year 2012
