Just came upon this shot I did in 1989 of a ‘close personal friend’. He was taking flying lessons at the time and flew us from Van Nuys to Palm Springs in an ancient little Cessna. Seriously, I couldn't be happier.

He's so sweet. I love that I'm the most important thing in his world. Actions speak louder than words & everything that he does screams at me. He make me feel like I'm not alone, he always has. But still I feel sad for the love I once lost... those 3 years, you & I, everyday.. what went wrong? However, I can't help, but to notice that he looks at me in a way that you didn't. He doesn't just hear me, he listens. He is there for me, emotionally available if you will, in a way that you weren't. What was I supposed to do.. wait around for you to realize that you couldn't live without me? You should have known all along & I should have known.. better.
