Miss Daisy🌼 has had a much better afternoon/ evening once all the pain medicine kicked in. Her shaking has stopped and she is at a much more peaceful rest. Today her day consisted of sleeping, eating, and getting loved on. She realized she was allowed on the couch and spent most of her day snoozing away bundled up. 💗 💗 💗 She has chosen a bed right next to mine. It's Great Dane sized and super duper soft with lots of blankies. Ellie is right next to her on her bed and Murphy is next to her. All the ducks are in a row, hopefully we will all sleep more peacefully tonight. Daisy is a gentle old gal. She has the sweetest spirt even though she feels horrible. McKenna chose to sleep with Indi in Molly's room and is doing very well! I stayed by Daisy's side all night long. She is very restless, lots of grumping going on. Poor sweet girl is very frail and shakey. I kept her company on her bed all night long. We snuggled and talked a lot 💗. She is in pain, has a gagging, awful wretching sound she's doing to throw up. She has her tail issue which is bothering her as well. She has many tumors along her mamory chain area. Overall extremely weak. I did get her to immediately eat last night and this morning. She has no energy but is doing her best to go outside to use the bathroom. Dr. A put her on Tramadol and Carprofen for pain. Benadryl to help ease her tail. Famotidine to help with the gagging. She is going later this week to get a full work up, xrays, and for Dr. A to check her lungs. I don't think I would describe her as an anxious dog at all. Heartbroken and in pain. Her demeanor is very peaceful.
