The amazing Grönefeld 1941 Grönograaf, the first chronograph created by the Horological Brothers Tim and Bart Grönefeld! from /r/vexillology Top comment: My redesign of the flag of Oldenzaal. I always hated the azure blue - golden shield being tucked in the corner of the azure blue golden flag. This way saint Plechelmus is not visible. Plechelmus is the saint who christianized the city of Oldenzaal around the year 900, I think he deserves a bigger spot on our flag! I also made the flag in red background - white cross, in the style of the original flag. These flag colours were lost from memory after the fifth siege of Oldenzaal and the sack theroff by the Dutch independence fighter vs Habsburg Spain. Inspired by the Dutch Delta Works, The Horological Brothers @gronefeld_watches have conceived their first sports utility watch, the aptly named 1969 DeltaWorks, which also references the year Bart was born. The model is designed to cope with the perils of water ingress and shocks while still upholding the elevated standards of horology and traditional craftsmanship that are synonymous with the Grönefeld name. The case in steel measures 43,4 x 12,5 mm, is water resistant up to 100 meters and is available with steel or rubber inserts. The watch is equipped with the automatic in-house movement G-06, and dials can be in khaki, black or salmon. 💰 49,800 Euros .
