I like how a lot of older games had environmental sound effects just baked into the background music.
Board games we played as kids, that are still fun today!
Check out this Ask the Bellhop Segment video on YouTube where Sean and I talk about games we grew up with that we will happily still play today.
Great games that were around in the 80s that are still worth playing.
In this sequel to Nightshift Code, we join Mike and Isabel as they search for the legendary Jaguar's Eye codex!
Best thing about the older Assassin's Creed games?
I don't have to answer any questions that affect how my game plays. I can just be immersed in the story.
I seriously love the realism in the newer games (puzzles aside... lol) but I also love the ~drama~ of the older games. Some of the villains are just completely psycho/off the rocker (and with little provocation...stfd, fin, sha, trt, ran) and all the characters’ personalities are extreme, yet somehow it’s all pretty believable in context. idk why it worked but it did and it was great.

Getting Back Into Games
A guy came into my work the other day and told me he was going to go home and play Breath of the Wild. (I mean, we were talking and I asked about his plans for the night, he didn’t come in just to tell me.) But when I heard this, I confessed I hadn’t played video games in a while.
I mean, I have a first-gen PS3 as my home console. Also a Mac desktop I’m pretty sure we had before I started…
