I just..Okay so I was just listening to Trick Pony- The Bride  (yes it’s a country  song,  shut up) and all I could think of Mabel  singing this when she’s older and if Gideon or any other  guy that gets creepy on her gets married to another person. Just listen to the song. it’s perfect. One of the lines it , “ I’m free, I’m free. “ C’mon! even the groom in the video looks like he could be an older gideon!

Wow all the positive feed back on the first one made me really ambitious for this, thank you all. Also glad to know I’m not the only one who ships these ships. XD

So here’s number two, it’s not as cutesy and it’s shorter then the first one but it gets the ball rolling for the plot.

“One last time, one last time.” He swore to himself as he picked up the book again reading over the incantation in the book. Before him sat a circle of candles connected with a thin line of blood to form a star and in the middle a recent picture of the Pines family. The white haired boy took a deep breath in and let it out in a low almost animalistic growl.

“Lux stella, stella splendida. Prima stella video hac nocte. Utinam mihi, volo ut, utinam hodie quod ita velint.” He said loudly and clearly, holding his head high. He’d been trying summon this demon for months now, ever since he heard about the return of the Pines siblings. Just as he finished the incantation everything stopped abruptly and turned light blue. He looked up to find a star shaped demon floating in front of him with its legs crossed and staring down at him. It looked extremely unimpressed by the pale boy and rather bored. He stared back at the demon wide eyed and shocked by it, really he was more surprised that this had worked.

“Speak, boy. I don’t have all day.” The demon said with a wave of its small black hand. Its voice was low and bored sounding extremely different then the demon he summoned all those years ago. The star looked down towards the still shocked and silent boy, the bored look in its eye changed to a more surprised look. “Wait, a minute. I know you.” The star said floating closer to the boy and making him step back. “Yeah,” its voice took on a more chipper, excited tone here. Suddenly the star began to laugh loudly making the entire sky shake “I thought I still had a few years before I got to see you again. Oh this is great.” The star said, it offered its hand to the boy then looking much happier now than it had before. “Gideon Gleeful. Correct? Oh it’s great to finally meet you face to face, kid.” Gideon didn’t take the hand instead he just stared at it clearly distrusting of it.

“How do you know me?” he asked his southern drawl still extremely evident. Once again the star laughed making the entire sky shake with it.

“I know more about you then you know about yourself boy. So tell me how can little old me help little old you?” the star offered and Gideon pushed his worried thoughts aside, he couldn’t be dealing with those, not now anyways.

“I want revenge. I want revenge on this lot.” Gideon said grabbing the picture and showing it to the star, who scanned it over a moment. A sinister glint showed in the stars’ eye

“And you know what asking a demon for help means?” Gideon nodded his head and held his hand out ready for the offer.

“I offer my soul in exchange.” He was dead serious about this. The Pines family ruined his show, ruined his life, worst of all they ruined HIS happily ever after. The Star stared at his hand before erupting into laughter again, this time it was even louder and the entire world shaked with it. Gideon dropped his hand to try and keep his balance so he wouldn’t fall over with the odd new tremors that came with the laughter.

“I don’t want your soul, kid.” The Star said once it finished laughing, Gideon went from just confused by the demon to downright befuddled by it. The Star floated over to him and put its arm around his broad shoulders. “Nah, I don’t need it.”

“Then what do you want?” Gideon asked watching the Star out of the corner of his eye. The Star let go of his shoulder and floated back in front of him holding its hands together innocently in front of it.

“I want the same as you.”

“Revenge on the Pines family?” Gideon asked both confused and hopeful. The Star rolled its eye and gave him a look that answered his question with a “Really?”

“No.” it said simply. “Do you remember some years back you made that deal with a certain triangular demon? One, Bill Cipher?” Gideon remembered perfectly, that demon couldn’t even get him a stupid code from an old man’s mind. Why would this one want revenge on a demon so incompetent? “Well I want revenge on him and you’re going to help me get it.”

“How?”

“You’re going to summon Bill, I’m going to possess your body for a bit and then with my powers I’ll make it so he can never use his powers again. Simple as that.” The Star explained snapping its fingers, they lit up in a bright yellow flame and it held the flaming hand out for Gideon to take. “So do we have a deal?” Gideon stared at the demons hand a moment, hesitant to take it and make the deal. He took a deep breath in, closed his eyes tightly and took the hand in a firm handshake.

AN: Just so you all know, the “incantation” at the very beginning is just the kids poem Star light, star bright in Latin.

i was talking with some friends tonight and we were saying that somewhere down the road, i think Gideon would lose the always chipper attitude and begin the "unless im trying to get something out of you, fuck you" always kind of thing and like, ive seen a lot of AUs where older!dipper has the tattoo on his arm, I imagine Gideon probably has one of the pages tattoos on as well, most likely which ever one summons the most powerful shit (like bill) on his arm. idk. random babbles at 2 am while at steak n shake
