Always for Power

Regina dressed in peasant clothing, stepped into the pub which was just off sea side of the dock.  She looked nothing like the queen with her hair all down, slightly messy and her plain dress and dirty tipped boots. Yet...she was still quite lovely out of any other woman that was in the room and that was what people would notice. Regina didn’t even bother to fix the front of her dress as she made her way through the crowd, ignoring anyone that tried to get her attention. Her focus was on the elemental that was hiding as a commoner.  She  narrowed her eyes a little as she approach, but then instantly put on her best smile once she got close enough for the other woman to take notice of her.

She picked a seat and sat down, making sure to catch the red head’s eye.  This wasn’t going to be a challenge if the woman was as easy as she suspected that she was.  A lonely, magical being without family or any of her kind around.  Of course she would want someone who understood her.  Regina smiled and gave a small nod to Luci.  Hopefully, that would bring her right to her side.

Moriarty rubbed the bridge of his nose before looking at his child. Seeing the dead boy he sighed gently before walking over and putting a hand to her shoulder and rubbing it.

“Then you should have carved the names he called you into him before he eventually bled out. But not too bad what you did. We’ll work on your technique though,” he said kneeling and putting a hand on the back of her head before pressing their foreheads together as he looked deeply into her eyes. “But we must be careful how and when we kill and take in account of everything. I don’t want my little girl to be taken away from me. Understood?”

Her gaze followed his own to examine the distorted human form laying lifeless on the ground. She’d stabbed him so many times that his form was barely recognisable, any more.

Jezebel hung on every word her Father spoke, focusing entirely on the advice he gave her. She longed for the same systematic control he had, to one day hone it to the same level. ❝Yes, Daddy. Understood.❞ her eyes were locked on his as she spoke, idolising & respectful. She threw her arms loosely around his neck, resting her head against his shoulder. ❝Don’t let t’em take me away! The child’s shaped eyebrows came together to form a solicitous frown.Above all, she strove to impress her Father, so when she disappointed him,which was becoming increasingly often, she felt another piece of her heart shatter.

Dru heard the words and had to make it register in her mind. She wanted to shout that they couldn’t make her or that she wouldn’t do such a thing to that extreme but the words that came out were, “I pledge my loyalty to you sir.”

“….What? No, really?….. I honestly didn’t see this coming,” Moriarty said looking at Peter before looking away as he tried to put it all together in his mind. “Though maybe I should have. Though I have been fairly busy and hardly eat myself that I probably would have not suspected you being a vampire…” He began mumbling to himself.

peter remained where he was, a bit awkward, a bit wary; clothes still stained a bit crimson, hands in his pockets, head down. the man wasn’t moving against him but that didn’t man it wasn’t in the future and he stayed exactly where he was, not responding.
