He saw her from across the tower corridor, a flash of orange and yellow that seared into his mind in only the second that he’d witnessed it. Cayde found himself moving forward after a second, abandoning the direction he’d actually been heading in favor of pursuing the woman who had just turned a corner.
Cayde moved rudely through the crowd of people, pushing and bumping into more than a few of the guardians and passing citizens alike. He weaved his way out into the more open space, his bright glowing blue eyes searching with almost in a frantic way, until – yes! They found their target. A hunter with a torn-up, dark-furred cloak, covered in symbols that were Fallen. He’d know that cloak anywhere.
Moving forward with a purpose, he approached. And once he got closer, he realized that he recognized her past the cloak as well – an older hunter, Vega, who he’d crossed paths with on occasion. She was an older guardian; maybe even older than him, but he didn’t know for sure. Either way, it wasn’t the point then, his mind fixated on her cloak much more than who she was.
When he was close enough, he blurted out, “Hey!” But then, promptly, reached out and grabbed his fellow guardian by her shoulder, tugging her back almost rudely before she had much of a chance to react. “This cloak. Where did you get this cloak?”
The tone was serious, unusually so for him.
"Yes, I did beat him up and I will not apologise."

↠ A soft noise, electronic, disapproving. Their front wings drew downward, as if glaring at the Exo, amber glow only adding to the effect. ↤
“ You should rethink that. It’s not wise to let grudges fester. ”

It seems that everyone is in the habit of killing gods these days. Staring down at his missive, Covenant-5 speculates that he might as well be joining in on the god-killing as well. He looks over at the other Guardian that has the same missive, another Exo, and his plating canters down into a frown as he asks her,
[ ‘ Have you ever been to the Black Garden? I haven’t heard good things about it ever since it’s opened up. Do you think we’ll get in trouble for giving the missive to someone else? ’ ]
