I saw this Goddess clear across 3 check out counters at the grocery store. She stopped me in my tracks with her style grace and beauty. She was regal and resplendent in her blackness rocking her short lavender haircut, bright Orange sundress, Gold glasses and gold and crystal accessories, light make up, and Queen attitude. I clocked her movements until she was about to pass me in the self check out aisles. I stopped her, bowed and said "Queen Mother, you look so beautiful. You are a vision. Thank you for existing. You are exquisite and wonderful so very divine!!!" She responded by embracing me in a big hug telling me how beautiful I am and how she really appreciated my words. We cried tears of joy in each other's arms While affirming our beautiful black woman hood. She looked at me, smiled and said "I am 70 years old child. God keeps you young." Then we embraced again and laughed and giggled and hugged like we were long-lost granddaughter and grandmother. Then I asked to take her picture because she was so perfect. She kissed me and said yes. In all this celebration of Beautiful blackness I forgot to get her name. but it doesn't matter. What matters is the fact that we celebrated each other and our black womanhood. Two black woman strangers Took a moment to love an each other. In the face of anti blackness... I call this self-love and revolution. #TheBlackWomanIsGod #BlackIsBeautiful #BlackGirlMagic #LadySpeech #Revolution #BeautifulBlackWoman #Elders #Love #BlackLove #BlackJoy #IssaCelebration #OldLadyGoals #BlackDontCrack
