Oliveflight is rather sick of Lion's Head. He's the only healer left, but there's no good reason for it. His mentor, Bushbranch, was transformed into a tufted duck by Peacockfeather for hiding the truth of Flurryslip and Flailleaf's affair, making him a tale of caution for others and a sign to the king to get his act together. Of course, it screwed with Oliveflight's life in the process. His best friend and co-worker now flies around the clinic trying to help, all the while Oliveflight argues with Bonefreckle on ways to make the gods change him back. Meanwhile, he has to deal with the family drama; Flailleaf is his sister, and violated the sanctity of the clinic by having her affair with Flurryslip while he was injured. He doesn't really know what to think of his sister, his nieces, or his nephew. He at least knows he is firmly anti-Flurryslip, though.

Oliveflight is most skilled as a diagnostician. He can figure out exactly what disease you have and prescribe the best treatment for it. His unique glasses, crafted by a now dead Lion's Head craftsmith, help him study symptoms and support his bad eyes. When he isn't dealing with patients, his family, or his best friend turned duck, you can find Oliveflight hunting or swimming somewhere in Lion's Head land.
