This launch is a spin-off of my surfer fic, Intertidal, picking up on the story two years after the original story's conclusion. Following Kent and Wynn as they adjust to living life in the spotlight as surf nation's power couple, they must navigate the social and political arenas that fight to pull them apart while also juggling love, family, and the ever-nagging anxiety of wanting to be the best while also remembering that perfection is impossible.

Join Kent, Wynn, Tyler, Xavier, Wednesday, Ajax, Enid, and Divina for a rollercoaster that'll leave you feeling the coziness of nostalgia but the vulnerability that comes with our own humanness.

Chocolates and flowers 🍫🌹

Kent x reader! Fluff 🧸

Summary: you get back from fencing and find some chocolates and flowers on your bed.

You walk through the door, breathing in the scent of the candle your roommate Enid lit. You were working all day. You were at class and then archery practice right after. You didn’t have a chance to go back to your dorm. You set down your bag. You notice something off. Enid wasn’t there to greet you like she usually was.

“Enid?” You yell out.

No response.

Today was the day before Valentine’s Day so she was probably somewhere with Ajax

You go into the bathroom and get into the shower.

When your done you walk out, in Cookie Monster pj pants and a black tank top. You walk up to your bed to see something laying on it. It was chocolate and flowers.

You put the towel that you were drying your hair with down. Beside the chocolate and flowers was a note. You pick it up and read it.

Dear y/n, will you be my valentine? - kent

You smile at the note, how pretty his handwriting was. You jump as you hear a knock on the door. You put the note back down on the bed and walk over to the door.

You open it to see Kent. He smiles as soon as he sees you.

“Hey, y/n” he says.

You were absolutely speechless.

“Did you get my note?” He asks.

“Yeah, I’m guessing you gave it to enid to put on my bed?” You say smiling.

“Bingo.” He says.

A couple seconds of silence pass by. Every second some tension builds up. He leans down, hesitating to kiss you, not knowing if you will like it. You basically break your neck to look up at him.

The suspense is killing you so you grab him by his shirt and pull him into a kiss. He doesn’t kiss back for a while, shocked.

His hands move down to your shoulders, then to your waist. You take your hands off of his shirt and to his neck. You stand up straight so he doesn’t have to crouch down as much.

His hands move from your waist to your ass. He grips it lightly. You could feel him smile against the kiss. You two pull away to catch your breath.

“So..will you be my valentine?” He says smiling. You scoff.

“Yes. Yes, I will be your valentine, kent”

I really loved making this beautiful Fanart of Kianca’s ship from the Wednesday Addams series of the characters of Kent and Bianca Barclay together but especially because I really loved the idea that after Kent regained consciousness after having been knoked by Thing then when he saw his beloved Bianca in the water immediately Kent was going to help her get to the dock even though Bianca was also a Mermaid and once both dried up or tried I like to think that Kent when he saw Bianca was very cold because of the water of the lake so he immediately hugged her to try to warm her the truth

But at the same time because I really want to see them together again in season 2 and see them become a Canon the truth
