when olivia finds her favorite ADA sick at work, she insists on taking you home

a/n: woo my first svu fic! I've been wanting to write for Olivia for ages. this one is kinda short but I hope to write others in the future.
You squint at the computer in front of you, trying to get the words on the screen to not blur as much. Why do legal briefs have to be in such small print? You swear these things are barely legible.
The truth is that the swimming words probably have more to do with your headache that seems determined to escalate to a migraine sometime soon than the font size. And the fact that you keep having to turn away from the computer to cough what seems like every five seconds. But that’s neither here nor there – you still think they should make the print bigger.
You sigh, minimizing the PDF on your screen and propping your head up on one hand. You rub your temples tiredly. Maybe if you just close your eyes for one minute, you just might…
“Looks like you need this coffee more than I do.”
You snap your eyes open, feeling your cheeks heat up. Olivia Benson is leaning against the doorframe to your office, watching you with a slightly amused, slightly concerned look on her face.
“Please tell me one of those is for me,” you sigh, eyes falling to the two coffee cups in her hands.
“Of course,” Olivia smiles, coming into your office and sitting down in the chair across from you. She hands over the coffee. “Can’t have our best assistant DA falling asleep midday, can we?”
“You’re an angel,” you say, taking a long sip of the hot liquid. It feels amazing on your irritated throat, and you can only hope the caffeine might improve the pounding in your head.
“I’ll take it,” Olivia chuckles, leaning back in the chair and taking a sip from her own cup. “That’s a lot better than the string of profanities that usually get hurled my way.”
You grimace in sympathy. “Long day?”
“Ah, the usual. Some good, some bad,” Olivia says diplomatically, shrugging a shoulder. “But trying to focus on the good.”
“And that’s what makes you a great captain.” You give her a reassuring smile, downing some more coffee. But then your throat tickles, and you’re forced to swivel around in your chair to smother a coughing fit in your elbow.
It takes longer than you’d like for the coughing to calm down, and you wipe a few irritated tears off your cheeks when you turn back around. “Sorry, um –” you clear your throat. “Excuse me.”
Olivia’s dark eyes are full of concern when you finally look at her again. “Are you alright?” she asks softly, studying you. “That doesn’t sound too good.”
“It’s nothing,” you wave a hand, trying to sound healthier than you feel. “Wrong pipe.”
Olivia tilts her head, giving you a knowing look. She reaches out, giving you a second to pull away if you want. When you don’t, she puts the back of her hand to your forehead, then sighs.
“That’s what I thought. I have a twelve-year-old, I know a fever when I see one.” She raises her eyebrows at you.
Your face feels hot, and you pull away, hiding it behind another sip of coffee. “It’s no biggie,” you repeat, although it sounds unconvincing, even to yourself.
“Sweetheart,” Olivia says, her voice low and soft now. It makes your heart flutter. “You should go home and rest. You’re sick and running a temp.”
You honestly didn’t expect Olivia to care this much. Sure, you’re friends, but she’s never looked at you like this before.
“I will,” you say, swallowing down another cough. “I just have a few more things to get through, then I’ll head out.”
“You’re no good to anyone here if you run yourself into the ground,” Olivia presses, her eyes still fixed on yours. “Trust me, I’ve done it myself.”
You laugh softly. “Yeah, I’ve seen you do it.”
“Exactly,” Olivia says, lips curled in a lopsided smirk. “And you’ve pulled me back when I needed it. Reminded me to sleep, and eat, and to go see my kid. So this is me pulling, honey. You need to go home.”
You’ve seen this softer side of Olivia before. It’s reminiscent of the way she is with victims, all quiet words of reassurance, comforting touches. But somehow it’s hitting you even harder right now, all that care directed at you.
But you remind yourself not to read too much into it. You’re friends, that’s all. Even if you secretly wish it could be more.
Your nose itches and you hastily grab a tissue to sneeze into, sighing afterward. Olivia is right. You’re not getting anything done anyway.
“Maybe I can work the rest of the day from home,” you admit begrudgingly, glancing up at her. “I don’t want to get anyone else sick, anyway.”
“Good,” Olivia smiles at you, and the brightness of it makes your chest do funny things again.
You and Olivia stand up. But the moment you’re on your feet, it feels like all the blood rushes from your head and you wobble, seeing stars.
Olivia lunges for you immediately, wrapping a firm arm around you and steadying you.
“Woah, careful,” she says, frowning at you. She doesn’t let go of you. “You okay?”
“Yeah, just dizzy for a second,” you mumble, although you don’t make an effort to move out of her grasp.
“Let me take you home, sweetheart,” Olivia murmurs, tucking a piece of hair behind your ear. There’s a deep furrow in her eyebrows. “You shouldn’t be driving with this fever.”
“I think I’ll be okay –” you start to protest, but she shakes her head firmly. While keeping her arm around you, she picks up your purse and jacket for you and tucks them under her other arm.
“Nuh-uh. I’m pulling rank,” Olivia says, already guiding you toward the door. “I’m driving you home.”
You feel too safe in her arms to protest any further.
Could you do relationship headcanons for reader x Olivia? She's one of my favorite fear and hunger characters :)
OLIVIA RELATIONSHIP HEADCANONS
ok ok so first time writing her + i hope i did her justice
contains - romantic liv hc’s for the soul, you’re in college here, you needed a meet cute and that’s what i thought of, slightly bimbo leaning r because that’s also what i thought of
̥ .‧⋆ you caught her eye quickly, usually talking (loudly) with whoever you could find. she even got her own fair share of smiles flashed her way, although she was positive you only did it out of obligation or worse, pity
̥ .‧⋆ what did you study? no idea! you seemed friendly enough but she never really got the impression you were as studious and never saw you in the quiet spots she usually chose. was still curious about you even though she couldn’t really place why
̥ .‧⋆ thankfully, for a reason she still can’t fully understand, on what seemed like an entirely random tuesday afternoon, (she’s still planning on asking you about why then specifically) you threw yourself into a nearby chair, got her name, and immediately started talking about the latest gossip you heard like you’d been friends for ages
̥ .‧⋆ took a solid minute for her to grasp what was happening but surprisingly enjoyed talking with you even if the subject was the top 5 most disastrous hookups you’d heard about in the past semester (managed to steer it into more wholesome territory fast, but still hates how invested she was in the topic)
̥ .‧⋆ it didn’t hurt that you threw in just enough smiles and gasped compliments to make her cheeks get a little pink too
̥ .‧⋆ pleasantly surprised how interested you are in both her and her interests. pretty sure she’s never seen you open a book once so getting asked details on plants only someone her level of expertise would know about was not expected. how’d you know about them? she mentioned them a week ago and you listen, duh!
.‧⋆ always a little worried she talks about her plants too much so your enthusiasm is definitely appreciated
̥ .‧⋆ especially if you’re someone who’s less studious, one thing she does like (although it sounds horrible and she’d never tell you) is the fact she doesn’t feel threatened by your intelligence
̥ .‧⋆ not that she thinks you’re an idiot at all! her ability to wow you with knowledge is just nice. really likes impressing you and the fact she can do it so easily makes her feel good!
̥ .‧⋆ also she’s (unsurprisingly) a very good (and patient) teacher so you’re going to be a pro on anything that grows pretty soon.
̥ .‧⋆ may even get you to sit on her lap while she talks. you said it helped you focus (debatable) + she definitely doesn’t want to get in the way of that! (also debatable, she can + will discreetly feel you up at least a little in most cases)
̥ .‧⋆ plans very cute dates; i’m talking mugs of tea, i’m talking sitting outside, i’m talking staying out later than you should but the sky looks pretty and it’s nice enough you just don’t really want to leave, i know u understand. also likes the planning process tho! wants to make sure you’re having as good of a time as she is so she tries to work in things you’re interested in too
̥ .‧⋆ speaking of tea, loves those fruity herbal ones you only find in specialty shops! she definitely makes her own blends but if u find any fun ones while you’re out, always very appreciative if u bring her back a few small bags
Over the years you wrote letters to every girl you had a crush on, Taylor swift Sabrina carpenter Olivia rodrigo Billie eilish Four girls who you never sent the letter to or told about your feelings, four girls who grew up and moved on with their lives. Each one became famous singers, songwriters and pop star sensations. All while their letters stayed in the blue box inside your closet. You never forget about it just like you never forgot about your feelings for each one of them. You had moved on past those feelings or so you told yourself, opening a small flower shop and spending your days watching other people have what you wish for. It was around Christmas and you were sitting in front of the fireplace rereading the letters. Each and every one. Once you were done you set them back in the box, having had enough of reminiscing about your past crushes. You set the box on the table as you moved to help your family set up for dinner.
It was finally Christmas eve and you were sitting in front of the fire when your doorbell rang, your parents were visiting family and you hadn't invited anyone so you carefully made your way to the door. Slowly opening it to see who was there. You opened the door and a shiver went down your spine when you saw who was on the other side. The four girls were there on the porch.
Taylor was dressed in all black, her blonde hair a mess from the wind. Sabrina was still dressed in black pants clinging to her legs and her shirt buttoned tightly. Olivia wore a simple blue coat and a red beanie. Billie was wearing her usual oversized shirt and jeans,a coat on that too as she shivered from the cold. You quickly ushered the girls inside before you started thinking, what reason could they all have for being here. Unless they fancied a reunion for this year,or to check on the one person who didn't end up a world renowned star like them.
"So,what brought you back to this sad little town?" You finally asked.
“Ah we just missed the place, you know.” Taylor said, looking over your house as if trying to memorize every single detail.
“Yeah.” Sabrina agreed, taking off her coat.Olivia looked around, her eyes locking on the fire as she made her way towards it. Billie looked tense, her arms crossed as she stood in the foyer
"Just lock the door before you girls get any colder" you gestured to the door, they were all looking over the place probably surprised to see it hadn't changed at all in the last ten years.
“So it really hasn’t changed a bit huh?” Sabrina said as she looked around again, noticing all the old photographs and souvenirs that your parents had hung on the walls
"Nothing ever does around here, and I like this house" you jokingly fired back. All the girls chuckled at this,Sabrina and Taylor taking a seat on the couch
“You’ve always liked old houses.” This statement came from Olivia, who had finally turned away from the fire and was looking at you,her eyes were soft and filled with a strange emotion. There was some weird feeling, like there was something each of them wanted to say but held back.
"Alright, anyone up for some hot chocolate?" You asked, every Christmas growing up they'd always come to you for some hot chocolate and to exchange gifts. And of course the famous brownies you'd always make. They all nodded, still looking around before they made themselves comfortable on the couch.
“I would die for some of your hot chocolate.” Sabrina said with a smile.
“And your brownies.” Billie chimed in.
"Oh,I didn't make any brownies this year," you explained. They all looked at you with a look of mild disappointment.
“What? No brownies?” Taylor said,disappointed.
“But those are the best part.” Sabrina groaned.
"Well I thought I was gonna be alone so I didn't make any. I mean what would I do with a full pan of brownies,no way I'm finishing that by myself" you explained.
“You could share them with us.” Billie said in a teasing tone.“We did bring presents after all,” she pointed out.
"Fine,it's only fair I'll make you some. I do have the ingredients after all." They all cheered at this.
“Yay.” Taylor said, sounding like a little kid,Billie giggled, her smile wide. It was like they turned back to their younger selves, before you all moved on with your lives. You moved into the kitchen to start prepping. It was quiet as you set up everything, the silence being interrupted by one of the girls joining you. Olivia walked in,her steps soft. You looked up and met her eyes.
“Can we talk?”
"Of course, what's on your mind?" She was now standing right in front of you,her entire body was facing you. She looked like she was working up the courage to say something.
“I need to tell you something.” She whispered. “It’s about…feelings I have towards you”
"What? What are you talking about?" You asked quietly, not knowing what she was talking about.
“I guess I should…start from the beginning. I guess…I should start with this letter-.” She began, her fingers playing with the sleeve of her sweater. There was a creak of the door opening,Olivia looked over her shoulders and saw that it was Sabrina who had just walked in.
“Heyyy…what are you two up to in here?” Sabrina said, looking between the two of you with a smirk on her face.
"Just getting ready to pop these into the oven" you sprinkled chocolate chips over the top.
“Oooo can I taste it?” Sabrina asked, walking closer to you. She reached out to grab some of the chocolate chips but you slapped her hand away, not too hard though.
"It’s not done yet" You said which made Olivia laugh at you not letting her get a taste.
“Awww come on.” Sabrina said, giving a small pout while she looked at you. Olivia left to join the others in the living room, leaving you and Sabrina alone. Sabrina was now standing beside you, chewing on her lower lip as she looked at the batter. “You’re cruel you know.” She said, glancing at you with a small smirk.
"I'm sorry I won't let you eat the batter and get a stomachache" you said sarcastically.
“It’s not that bad.” She protested, rolling her eyes at you. “Besides, my stomach is made of cast iron.” She said with a proud smirk. You rolled your eyes and turned your back to open the oven, but you knew her well, too well.
"Don't even think about it" you knew she was reaching for the batter behind your back.
“I don’t know what you’re talking about.” Sabrina said with a fake innocent look. She continued to reach for the bowl behind you. You stopped her and put the brownies in the oven.
“I was so close.” She whined, pouting as she looked at the brownies cooking. You started on the hot chocolate after you set a timer. “Hey…” she suddenly spoke up,tapping her fingers on the counter as she chose her words carefully. “I wanted to ask you something”
"No,I'm not giving you the recipe," you joked.
“Not that,I wanted to ask you about something else “ she said, her playful tone turning more serious. You nodded for her to go ahead and ask.
“Did you ever-” she cut herself off, trying to figure out how to phrase it. You worked on the hot chocolate, making each one exactly as you remembered them liking it. “Did you ever…send anyone a letter during Christmas?” She asked, her voice low and hesitant.
"No,I did send any letters," you said, confidently.
“But hypothetically speaking…” You nodded for her to continue. “If you had sent a letter…” she started, picking at her fingers as she looked at you. “To someone, would you want them to be truthful?”
"Of course" you made everyone's drinks the way they liked them. It seemed to hit her how well you remembered what each of them liked.
Sabrina- whipped cream, marshmallows and rainbow sprinkles.
Billie- only mini marshmallows.
Olivia- whipped cream and chocolate sprinkles, you always kept extra for her back in the day.
Taylor- with whipped cream and nothing else.
“You still remember how each of us like our hot chocolates huh?” She said, It was more of a statement than a question.
"Of course I still remember" Olivia peeked her head inside.
“Is the hot chocolate done yet?” She asked, her head peeking through the door.
"Yes,it is and I got the chocolate sprinkles you like" Olivia’s eyes lit up at this,a large smile spreading across her face.
“Oh you remembered?” She said, walking further into the kitchen.
"Of course I did" you moved to the living room and immediately you were pulled to a different room by Billie, wanting to talk about something in private. You let yourself be pulled into the room, letting the door shut behind you and the voices of the girls in the living room were now muffled beyond the door.
“I need to talk to you about something, “ she said, her voice shaking a little. You watched her, waiting for her to continue. Every second felt like forever until she spoke. “I just-“ she cut herself off, letting out a frustrated sigh. “I need to confess something. Something that I should have said a long time ago” She swallowed heavily, her eyes never leaving yours “I-” her voice was cut off by your timer going off.
“Oh,damn the brownies” You rushed out and took them out of the oven, setting them on the counter. Taylor followed you into the kitchen and now you were alone with her.
“Oo I can’t wait!” Taylor said, quickly walking up to the counter. Taylor was hovering over the brownies, her fingers hovering over them as she seemed to be fighting the urge to just rip them apart and eat them straight off the pan. “So how long till I can eat one?” she asked with a big grin, her patience wearing thin.
"Just give it a minute to cool down"
”Fiiiine I’ll wait” she grumbled. You chuckled, she looked up and her tone had turned a bit more serious. She straightened up from her slouched position and leaned against the counter.
“Can I ask you something?” She asked, her expression turning serious.
"What is it?"
“It's about the letter…” she began, her fingers now playing with the counter.
"What letter?"
“I’m not stupid you know” she said, her voice still having a playful tone “I know you sent me a letter”
"I never sent you anything"
“Are you sure?” she asked, her tone a mix of disbelief and a small hint of amusement
“Yes,I’m sure”
“So if you didn’t send the letter…who did?”Suddenly everyone else had also entered the kitchen.
"So you got a letter from me?" You asked, directed at Taylor but everyone else had also heard it. There was an obvious change in the atmosphere in the kitchen, all of the girls were now looking at you with various different reactions Taylor’s expression was a mix of curiosity, amusement and a slight bit of anger.Olivia’s eyes widened as she was stunned,Billie and Sabrina both had a look of shock on their faces.
"You wrote a letter to Taylor?" Olivia asked, confused that Taylor got a letter. Taylor glanced at Olivia, her face had a mix of shock and confusion on it.
“Wait… you got a letter too?” She asked, her eyes widened, but before Olivia could reply, Sabrina spoke up,her voice nervous.
“Wait…you all got a letter?”
"So I wasn't the only one?" Billie said. All the girls started to realize how everyone got a letter, all of them were stunned.
“Wait-“ Taylor said, her face now full of realization “you all got one?”The girls seemed so confused and baffled by this revelation. They stood in silence for a moment, all trying to process this information.
"So you all got letters from me?" They all nodded in agreement, the confusion still clear on their faces. Taylor was the first to speak up again, her tone still holding a hint of disbelief “So… you wrote letters to all of us?” You knew there was no getting out of this, somehow your letters got out to them.
"I...I did write letters to all of you, years ago" The girls stood in stunned silence at your confession,at first they thought it was a joke,a prank even. But as they saw the seriousness in your expression, realization slowly creeped in. "But I never sent them out"
"So how did we end up getting them?" Billie asked.
"I don't know,no one knows about those letters, except for..." you realized just who had sent those letters, your mother. The girls picked up on your sudden realization,Olivia was the first to speak up.
"Except for who?" she asked, her voice filled with curiosity and slight anxiousness.
"My mother, she must've sent them out." You sighed. Silence fell across the room as the girls absorbed your words, but the silence was quickly broken by Olivia speaking.
"Your mother?" she said, "She sent the letters out?"
"I guess she did. Listen you were never supposed to get those letters-"
"Why not? Why didn't you want us to get them?" Taylor spoke up,her tone a mix of anger and curiosity.
"Because it's weird, you're my friends and I shouldn't be crushing on all of you"
"Wait… you have a crush on all of us?" Olivia was the one to speak up,her voice a mix of disbelief and surprise.
"Yes,at different points in time" you started explaining but they had so many questions.
“For how long?” Taylor asked
“Which of us did you have a crush on first?” Olivia asked
“Did you really mean all of it?” Billie asked the girls bombarded you with questions
“How did you manage to keep your feelings to yourself all this time?” Olivia asked.
"Were you ever planning on telling us about this?" Taylor asked.
"Do you still have feelings for any of us?" Billie asked, her question hitting the hardest of all.
"Girls one at a time. One over the course of several years,I didn't keep track. Two it was Sabrina, three yes I did mean it." You answered the first three questions. "I wrote the letters and I kept rereading them to remind myself to keep it a secret. No,I was never planning on telling any of you or sending out the letters" You had avoided Billie's last question about if you still had feelings for any of them. They all hung onto your every word, taking in the information. Silently processing the several confessions you had just made. However Billie saw right through you,she knew you avoided the last question. She took a step towards you,her gaze fixed on yours.
"You avoided my last question" she said, her voice a mix of hurt and anger. "Do you still have feelings for any of us?" she repeated, her eyes searching your face for an answer. You sighed, staying quiet for a moment as you watched their faces debating lying or telling the truth. Taylor and Olivia both seemed curious but concerned,Sabina’s expression was a mixture of hurt and nervousness and Billie looked desperate, eyes almost pleading for you to tell her the truth. You avoided their eyes as you looked down and answered the question. "Yes,I still have feelings" The words hung in the air,the room feeling suddenly more heavy. The silence was almost unbearable, the girls were still stunned and speechless. Taylor looked like she wanted to say something, her mouth opening a few times but no words coming out,Olivia’s face was full of a mix of surprise and confusion,Sabrina’s eyes were locked on you. But Billie’s expression was the most noticeable one,a look of both pain and hope was in her eyes. Silence hung in the air,no one knew how to respond but before anyone could say anything,Billie decided to cut through the tension.
"Who is it,which one of us is it?”
Who?
Taylor
Billie
Olivia

You were back at work the next day. Your lunch break spent in Olivia's office. You rested your hands on your stomach, in awe that there was really a baby in there.
Olivia sat at her desk, admiring you. A soft smile was present on her face as you touched your stomach. Olivia herself was still in shock that you were pregnant.
She gently turned your head back up to meet hers, giving you a sweet kiss before pulling away and looking at you. "Are you sure you're okay?" She asked softly, still holding your waist.
Her gaze fell onto you.
"Mhm, better get back out there.." You nodded, beginning to detach yourself from her arms.
"I'll see you later, sweetheart. Let me know if you need anything." Olivia added.
You closed the door behind you as you watched Rollins return from her break.
"Hi Y/N" She smiled, sitting at her desk.
"Hey Manda, what's new?" You spoke, brushing a strand of hair out of your face.
"There's been a break in the case" Munch interrupted.
As Munch briefed the team, Olivia focused on the work in front of her. She was only half paying attention to what was going on. She was still thinking about earlier, thinking about you being pregnant with her child. The thought alone filled her with warmth. She knew this would be something she'd be thinking about for the rest of the day.
The case required the team to go into the field. Olivia grabbed her coat and bag to follow everyone else into action. The case wasn't too bad, thankfully. She walked with the team, making sure to keep an eye on you throughout. She couldn't help but be a bit protective, especially knowing that you were now carrying a baby, her baby.
There was a dead body that had been dead for a few days so it had a rancid smell. You tried to resist gagging and keep your composure. This action didn't go unnoticed by Liv.
She saw your expression as you saw the body and inched closer to you. Olivia placed her hand on your back, rubbing it gently. "You okay, dear?" She asked. She didn't want you to be too stressed, especially now. She was a bit concerned for your health.
"Y-Yeah.. it's just the s-smell" You admitted, whispering in her ear. You didn't want the rest of the team to know the news just yet. Didn't wanna jinx it.
Olivia nodded and kept a hand on your back, gently rubbing circles with her thumb, trying to comfort you. "Oh. My love.. It's going to be alright. Just breathe for me, okay?" She knew the next few months wouldn't be easy for you but it will be so worth it.
"You alright, Y/N? It's not your first dead body, is it?" Munch remarked, his eyes judging you.
Olivia looked up, her eyes glared at the other detective. This wasn't the time or place for jokes. She moved her hand from your back, instead putting it on your stomach, rubbing it softly. "It's alright," she reassured you, ignoring the other detective's comment.
"You know she's one of the younger agents leave her alone" Rollins spoke, referring to your age. Rollins was very motherly to you, and protective of you so she came to your rescue.
"Thank you, Amanda" Olivia turned to Rollins, giving her a nod. She hated when her teammates made comments that were just insensitive. She knew they didn't mean to be rude, but now was certainly not the time. The captain kept her hand on your stomach, rubbing it gently.
"In public?" You mouthed, refering to Liv's hand caressing your stomach. You didn't want your team to find out and this was a dead giveaway.
Olivia knew what you meant. She couldn't help but feel a bit protective and wanted everyone to know, but she also wasn't quite ready for anyone to know yet. She knew it would only be a matter of time before someone put the pieces together. "You're doing so well, don't worry about the others." She whispered, trying to reassure you.

The team had returned back to the office, wrapping up the case. You were in Olivia's office, relaxing. The team knew of your relationship with the captain but they didn't know that you two were trying to have a child.
Olivia's hovered behind you, her hands working the knots in your shoulder. "You're so tense, my love.." Olivia spoke softly.
You closed your eyes, lending your hand back slightly. A quiet groan escaped from your lips.
"That's it baby, let it all out" Olivia encouraged. Her lips ghosted your neck.
"You're such a good girl, my best girl" She praised.
You stood up, backing Liv against the wall. Your gaze darkened, you bit your lip as your hand found it's way around her neck.
"Shh.. Gotta keep quiet Captain.." You smirked, you sucked on the skin on her neck, taking it between your teeth.
"Mine" You whimpered against her.
Olivia couldn't lie, she was turned on by your possessiveness, and slightly curious of where it came from. She wasn't complaining though.
"B-baby.. we're a-at work" She reminded you, trying to keep her composure and not submit to you. She didn't want to give up her power but God you felt so good against her.
"Mmm.. don't you want this Liv.." Yiu mumbled against her, your other hand snaked down to her stomach, resting just below her pants.
"We're still at work, we'll have time for this later." Olivia added gently, pulling your face away from her neck.
"Benson! Y/L/N!" A voice exclaimed from the briefing room.
Olivia jumped, pulling away from you. She straightened her shirt and ran a hand through her hair to mess it around a bit so there wasn't as much evidence of what had just happened.
Your hand knocked on her door. You loved your wife and you couldn't wait to share the good news with her.
The two of you have been trying to get pregnant and start a family together.
"Come in" Olivia's eyes attention shifted to the knock on her door. You entered, closing the door behind you.
Olivia's face warmed up when she noticed it was you who had knocked. "Hi my love, what can I do for you right now?" Olivia was in the middle of signing papers, but motioned for you to sit down. "Anything bothering you?" She asked, signing as she spoke.
"Um-" You hesitated.
Olivia's demeanor changed when she picked up on your subtle anxiety. Your hands went to pull at the excess skin on your nails.
Olivia's hand grazed your cheek, she raised an eyebrow at you.
"Everything okay, sweetheart?" She paused, giving you a moment to speak.
"Are you busy?" You asked.
"I'll never be too busy for you," she reassured. She placed her pen down. You had Olivia's full attention, she waited for you to explain what was going through your mind.
You were nervous, what if she had changed her mind? What if she didn't want to have a baby with you anymore? What if she didn't love you anymore? Your eyes began to water. You bit your lip to hold back the tears.
Olivia looked at you, trying to figure out what was going on as you bit your lip. "What's going on in that head of yours, darling?" Olivia spoke softly, nodding. "Take a deep breath, sweetheart," she reassured you, moving closer to you, reaching a hand out toward yours to see if you'd want to take it.
"I feel a bit nauseous" You admitted, hoping she'd pick up your hints.
"Nauseous?" Olivia's voice was filled with concern. She got up and walked over to you, resting a hand on your shoulder. "What do you need? Water, medicine?"
You spoke your head "No, liv" you sighed, bringing your hand to rub your temple. You were starting to get frustrated.
"Alright...then what can I do to help you?" Oliva's hand moved to your face, gently caressing your cheek. She looked at you with genuine concern, wanting to help.
"Hear me liv, you're not hearing me" You groaned.
Olivia started to get worried "My love, I'm trying to. Please tell me what's wrong" Olivia spoke softly, sitting on the edge of her desk so she could be a bit closer to you. She moved her hand to her lap, waiting for you to explain.
You nodded "You know how we have been trying to have a baby, right?"
"Yeah..." Olivia's eyes widened, trying to connect the dots.
"I'm nauseous liv..." You paused.
"Are you..are you saying you think you're..." she trailed off, hoping you would fill in the blank.
"Liv, we're having a baby. I'm pregnant" You whispered, your eyes glistened as a stray tear escaped your eyelid.
"Oh my- oh my gosh, that's amazing! Did you take a test yet or were you waiting for me, darling?" Olivia hugged you, holding you in her arms.
You shook your head "Wanted to wait for you liv."
Olivia stood up in a flash, taking hold of your hand. "Let's go get a few. I'm going to grab a few. We'll go to the bathroom, and then go home. We'll figure this out, okay?"
"Wait liv-" you chuckled. "We're at work, are you sure you can just leave right now?" You looked up at her.
"I can leave Rollins in charge, this is important. We don't have an active case right now so I'm comfortable leaving" Olivia nodded.

You and Olivia are at home, she bought some tests at the store. "Would you like me to come in with you, my love? Or do you want me to wait outside?" Olivia spoke softly, caressing your cheek.
"I'd prefer if you waited out here" You nodded. You felt a bitembarrassed, Liv had seen you naked a bunch of times but this was different.
Olivia turned to face the entrance of the bathroom, as you closed the door. She waited for you to finish, wanting to give you your space. She was bouncing up and down with excitement, biting her lips again, trying to hold back.
You take a deep breath, "here it goes" you say shakily. This could be it, the start to a beautiful life with Olivia.
Olivia wanted to know the results so badly, but she stayed outside until you called for her.
Her heart was beating fast and she had a massive smile on her face, excited to hear the news. She'd been wanting to start a family with you for a few months now, and she was so over the moon that it might actually be happening.
A few minutes passed, there was silence.
Olivia was still waiting outside the bathroom door, but you had been so quiet. "Are you alright in there?" She called out after a moment. She couldn't stand not knowing what the result was.
Sobs filled the air.
Hearing your cries through the door, Olivia got more and more worried. "Darling? Are you okay?" She tried the door again, but it was locked.
You opened the door. Olivia was greeted by your skaily figure, tears streaming down your face.
Seeing your eyes red and puffy, Olivia wanted to wrap her arms around you immediately. "What's wrong?" She asked softly, not seeing the tests in front of her just yet.
"Liv... we're having a baby" you sniffled, you were so happy. You felt overwhelmed with joy.
Olivia felt her whole world stop. We're having a baby. Her eyes widened, and the smile on her face grew so big it almost hurt. Her lips met your forehead, this what everything she ever wanted and more. "Are you serious? You're- we're-" she couldn't find the words.
Your lips met hers as you brought her hand to rest on your stomach.
Olivia held your stomach, gently rubbing it, feeling a wave of emotions hit her. You two were going to be parents, an actual family.
After a second, she pulled you into a hug, her head rested on your shoulder as she squeezed you tightly. "I can't believe this is really happening..."
"Me neither livie..." You mumbled against her.
Olivia held you close, still in disbelief that this was real. She gently pulled away, looking you in the eyes. "I love you so much." She said softly, not sure what else to say.
Your eyes darkened. You pressed your lips against hers once more.
Olivia wrapped her arms around you, kissing you back gently. She held you in the middle of the bathroom, enjoying the feeling of your lips on hers. This was a moment she'd never forget.
A soft moan escaped your lips. As you deepened the kiss, Olivia moved a hand to the back of your neck, gently grasping a handful of your hair. She pulled you closer, not wanting the kiss to end anytime soon.
Your lips trailed down her neck. In response, Olivia tilted her head back, enjoying the feeling of your lips against her skin. Goosebumps started to rise on her arms. Olivia's hand moved to the back of your head. She leaned against the wall as you moved down her neck.
"Liv" you whined softly against her.
"Mmm.. fuck baby" Liv groaned.
You attempted to take control of the situation, pushing your body against hers. Olivia knew she was still in charge. She had a grip on your hair, moving her head further back to give you more space. She let out a soft moan, allowing you to explore this newfound power for a bit.
You inched closer to Olivia, feeling her hands rest on your waist. Your lips worked on her neck.
Olivia bit her lip to stiffle her moan. She closed her eyes, enjoying you. Your lips trailed kisses on her neck, sucking softly on her skin, taking it between your teeth.
"Sweetheart... you need to stop that," Olivia said softly, knowing that if you continued, she wouldn't be able to restrain herself.
"Livie" you whined.
"Oh, my sweet girl.. You do not know the effect you have on me right now.." Olivia groaned, getting more turned on by the second.
"Mm..." You continued to nip at her neck.

Protective & Possessive (Part 2 to Our Little Family)
[Have yall seen her replies to the Trump Supporters to her newest post? She's hilarious]
She knew these feelings were wrong better than anyone else, but she couldn't help it
She didn't know when they started, but once they did, they just kept growing until she wasn't able to control it
She tried to avoid you, to maybe lower the feelings, but it's like you're everywhere, even when you're not
How do people deal with such intense emotions? She feels like she's wound like a spring
She tried so hard to fight the feelings off, but how could she when you were so perfect in her eyes?
She's very protective over you. She worries about your safety constantly and worries if you don't answer her texts
Her paranoia is really high, especially with everything that's happened to her. She just wants to protect you and keep you in her life
Would do anything for you. You are literally her world
She can get away with any crime. Do not test her. She's been in the force long enough to know how to bet the system
She's quite literally unbeatable. No one will believe you if you say she's been stalking you or harassing you. Olivia is the best on the force, she dedicates her life to this, so why would she commit a crime?
You might as well get comfortable with her, because you're not going anywhere for a very long time
Hello was wondering if you could do headcanons for what it would be like to cuddle with the Termina girls?
Hell yeas get comforted!! Get comfy cozy 😏
Abella
Her ideal cuddle: just some good old fashioned spooning in bed before sleep
Both big spoon and little spoon are good for her. She’s most likely going to be taller than you (let’s be honest here) so big spoon is probably what’s going to happen.
She is a walking, talking heater. To the point where it’s difficult to cuddle in summer because she’s so warm. She will also pout and whine like crazy if she can’t cuddle.
She is very physically affectionate; she was raised in a household where she and her siblings would hug, wrestle and play roughly. It’s second nature to her. In fact she’s so affectionate that it can almost be seen as strange (poor girl not good with boundaries).
She insists upon sleeping in the same bed and won’t sleep properly if she can’t hold you like a teddy bear.
Also, she likes to play with hair and have her hair played with. If your hair is long enough she will want to brush it, run her hands through it and braid it for you. It’s one of her favorite textures in the world, nothing calms her down after a long day quite like stroking your hair and listening to your voice.
Bear hugger, will lift you off the ground with her snuggles.
Karin
Her ideal cuddle would be resting your head on her lap in the morning while she reads the paper or smokes a cig, and just running her fingers idly through your hair.
To put it lightly, she’s prickly. She’s fickle and decides when and where she wants to be touched. A lot of cuddle sessions might be cut short with excuses about having work to do.
She’s not trying to push you away. The truth is that she gets overstimulated easily. She gets shy and runs away from too much touching, and afterwards she’s in a huffy mood because she dropped the ball.
The easiest way to get cuddles is to go about it gently, and slowly, like getting a bird to land on your finger; if you sit still and be patient she will come on her own. At first it might be a side hug or a peck on the cheek. It gets easier in time.
She’s extraordinarily soft to the touch. Imagine the softest, plushest thing you’ve ever touched. Now take the relative softness of whatever you’re thinking of and double it. That is the softness of the elusive Karin Sauer. It will take years to earn the trust to touch all that.
…or, when she’s drunk, she becomes much more forward, and you’ll just find her on your lap sometimes.
Olivia
Ideal cuddle is: anything where she can see your face!
If she feels like cuddling she simply will try to put you on her wheelchair to sit on her lap. Even if you’re bigger than her. No fear at all.
If you’re small enough she will try to curl you up into a little ball to rest your head in her neck and chest. And then she’d wheel around with you like you’re a little bundle of luggage or something. (You might crane your neck in this position but it’d be worth it).
In the university that she attends there are a few small indoor gardens that are almost guaranteed to be empty on weekends. Mostly tended to by Olivia herself. It makes an ideal cuddle spot, especially when it rains and you can see the water on the sunroof.
A gentle hugger at first, but you’ll know she really trusts you once she starts giving you tight bear hugs.
Marina
She’s like a cat she will sit on your lap at every opportunity and you can’t stop her.
Sits on you and reads. Like sits on you. If you’re laying face down for any reason she will climb up on top of you and sit on your back. (This is great if you have back pains). If you’re laying on your back she sits on your chest. It’s her love language I guess. She’s not very heavy so it doesn’t hurt.
She will sometimes sing-cuddle you. If she’s drunk she will cradle you like a baby and sing to you and she thinks it’s hilarious. Whether she has a good voice is debateable. I think it’s pretty but a bit warbly.
Generally she likes all cuddling. She specifically gets more snuggly before ned
Prepare for tickle fights. Even worse if she has flesh puppetry she will use it to tickle you 😭 awful awful girl
Samarie
Please be so careful with her she’s a twig and she’s in constant pain if you’re too rough with her she could get actually hurt. Even if she begs you to sit on her lap or climb on top DONT DO IT.
She likes holding hands. She has a fascination with holding hands, it’s her deepest fantasy. Like she wants to hold hands ALL the time, even when you sleep.
She blushes very easily and sometimes gets so excited she starts shaking. You could give her a heart attack.
She’s so shy, at first she just gives you little forehead kisses or sniffs your hair. She feels so ashamed of herself, she knows she’s a total creep. She would never ever do it if you told her not to. She just…. Likes you so very much. So unbelievably much…
She loves to cuddle in any way but if she absolutely had to pick a favorite, she likes to lay her head on your chest and just listen to your heartbeat. It’s so sweet, so calming, she just wants to hold you forever and ever. (Bonus points if you have a large chest)
