I don’t know how well it’ll go over if they see me here again.” Val rolled their eyes. “So? People quit all the time. Don’t be embarrassed. Just say you’re getting your stuff and leaving.” Esra looked at them sidelong, trying to spot any hint of humour in an entirely earnest face. “You really don’t know who I am, do you?” They shrugged.

So, when are you going to share a recording of you singing???

The fact that y’all are interested in me ranting about music and teaching myself how to sing again is leaving me speechless. I’m sitting here at my computer feeling some type of way, and my heart’s melted :’D

As far as me releasing a recording of myself singing it’s just....At this point in my life I’m incredibly shy about actually singing within ear shot of people....Over all these months I’ve practiced singing only when no one else is in the place, all the windows closed. I’m passionate about it, but I’m also real shy. So I don’t think that sharing my singing is a thing I feel compelled to do right now; it’s not totally ruled out but...I want to get comfortable recording myself singing again first, get my sea legs in a digital audio workstation, and then see how I feel about that you know?

So at the very least it’ll be a little while

But, if anything changes and I decide I want to share my singing, I’ll definitely post about it here and let you know!! :)

my most difficult character in nDOT would probably be Riley, resident grumpy old man of the revolution. but a new years resolution? he HATES change and admitting he’s wrong, and wouldn’t make one if his life depended on it.

My word is fire.

I’m using my WIP Attack on Tier Four for this one, so here it goes: 

“Who are you?” Rory demanded, with a harsh fire in her voice that her mother had once taught her. She did not lower her weapon. 

“You do not know my name?” the girl chuckled with a hopeless shake of her head. She had a nice smile. “Typical.”

Al followed the trail of grey smoke through the dying field. Hornets always started small fires to work their spells. They were definitely nearby.

They read in peace by the light of the fire. Killian passed some food around the circle for everyone.

I was actually surprised that the word fire came up so often, but at the same time, I expected to see it more...
