Oh, encore une source à consulter pour ma biographie politique complète de Prieur :
Ollivier, the purged naval functionary, writes that one of his most valued friends has become Prieur de la Marne—“le père des patriotes”—who offers the hospitality of a good fire in his apartment and the company of “amiable republicans,” allowing bitter winter days to be passed there in a spirit of fraternity. In this setting they play lotto and discuss politics. “I have another pleasure, which is no small thing for me,” he writes. “It is to read to him [Prieur] Babeuf, the Tribun du Peuple and other interesting works.” [note : For this paragraph see A.N. F7 7611 : letters from Beillet and Ollivier. The quotation is from Ollivier to his wife, 9 ventôse IV.]

(On est, au moment où Ollivier écrit cette lettre, quatre mois après l’amnistie de brumaire an IV qui a permis à Prieur de sortir de la clandestinité.)
