I'm curious about what the Sword and Shield arc will be like, since I doubt they'll be keeping the controversial changes SM made. Especially the change in art style: will we be seeing something like XY/Z or something like Everyone's Story or a completely new style? Will they go back to the old formula, or put a twist on it, like the Gyms are sports teams and Ash joins Milo's (The Galar trainer girl and maybe Hop could be a part of this team?) to travel around and compete against other teams/Gym Leaders? 🤔 I know I would like them to continue experimenting with the series.

SM was a breath of fresh air the series needed imo. For better or worse, the formula was pretty much the same for almost 20 years. I got tired of it in DP, and BW almost did my interest in the anime in, coming back to it only after I heard how cool XY was. I did have some reservations about SM at first, thinking it would be another mess like BW (it has its reasons, but that really doesn't stop it from being a mess...), but in my eyes, it was a BW done right.

I'm really happy I gave SM a chance. Hopefully the next arc will be just as enjoyable ❤
