Maui's toxic debris could fill 5 football fields five stories deep. Where will it end up?

The debris and ash that remained after a deadly wildfire last year decimated a historic Maui town now sits in a temporary dump site. Where will it end up?

(article may be behind paywall) The temporary dumpsite in question is near a village best known for its French restaurant (I think it's still there). The main island of 'Oahu has only one dumpsite that was supposed to close years ago due to its capacity.
