This was strange. Perhaps one of the strangest things that Zagreus has been put through- and that was saying something given the absolute mess that was his family. After all, it wasn't every day that you found yourself washed out from the Styx into an alternate version of the underworld. One filled with things and devices that had never graced his eyes. One where he, Zagreus, was no Prince of Hades. In fact, he was no one. No child of Hades and Persephone existed as of now. And yet, here he was swept nonetheless by the river after a particularly brutal death via his father's bident.
It had been difficult convincing the Hades of this underworld that he wasn't speaking lies, but they'd managed. Zagreus was of the underworld indeed, as true as he was breathing. The questions of how and why he'd ended up here remained, but nobody had those answers as of yet. Leaving them to merely wonder. Well, wonder and try to find said answers, of course.
As of now though, they were simply trying to adjust. Zagreus had been moved to Hades and Persephone's home, a fact that the young god was more than thankful of. Which he tried to show in helping out; carrying groceries in, making sure to clean any sections of floor burnt by his feet, and caring for the gaggle of dogs. The last of which being what he was currently working on.
Meli had been an absolute treasure to feed and brush, and Cerberus came around after a bit of tug-of-war. But now? Now was the real challenge. Zagreus was currently in quite the intense staring contest with Cordon Bleu. A dog brush in one hand, and the other palm sporting a bite wound from the small terror. "Listen. You will be brushed. I will be gentle. And you can get a treat afterwards. But this?" He lifts the bitten hand. "This is a problem. So, fluffy fiend, we need to find some common ground here." The dog responded with many yaps, of course.
