Hi, I'm sorry but Omar passed away January 27th this year :(His blog seems to have been deleted, although I don't know by whom, because it was still there for a while after he died.

I can't believe Omar is gone. We all knew it would be someday soon. I just thought maybe... I don't know. I always have hope for hopeless things. I can't be selfish though. He's not in so much pain anymore.

I am going to miss you so much. I will miss our long conversations, I will miss your strength and encouragement. I will miss your kindness and compassion. I'm so thankful to have gotten to know in such a short time. You will always have a place in my heart as well as in the hearts of many others. You fought incredibly hard. You are no longer in pain and for that I am so very thankful.
