Or how about this: everyone expected Stiles to be omega and Scott to be alpha, and they've been dating since they were 12. Then Stiles pops his knot and he gets terrified Scott will dump him but Scott's all "we can work with this," and then Scott goes into his first heat and everything just clicks.
Like, unexpected!Alpha!Stiles and ready-to-roll-with-it!Omega!Scott is basically everything.
