Thank u for this shout! This has made me wonder if omega hickey would choose work or bond if he was brought to trial. Either way I think he'd have no intention of staying where they put him. I think he's more likely to try and plan an omega prison breakout in what time he has before his trial lol

but that would actually be cool. I HC that the Alphas they got arranged with were ALSO petty criminals which could make the dynamic even funnier. Maybe Billy got caught fooling around with another Alpha, which is why Hickey finds him so interesting. Billy probably hopes that being bonded might give him the chance to be more Alpha/dominant but he ends up married to an omega who wants to top him. Hilarity ensues.

Some worldbuilding stuff about my omegaverse which might not have been obvious from my story

Omegas are characterised by having both a male and female reproductive system at birth. No presenting. You know from birth and your entire life is shaped by it.

Alphas however, do not know from birth and do actually have a werewolf esque rigmarole of presenting.

Most omega go through a male puberty. Some go through female puberty, but they'd still be raised/socialised as male because female omegas are considered too shameful. So the Victorian view is that all omegas are male even though that isn't exactly true.

Female Alphas are acknowledged but they're considered a disgrace, they get pressured into becoming nuns. Also, Female Alphas are seen as responsible for their own damn lust and will be hung if they do anything while males are seen as hopeless and unable to control themselves and victims of wicked omega tempters if they do anything.

Feminine acting/dressing omegas is unacceptable. Some like to crossdress or act in a more feminine way but it's seen as taboo the same way as if a regular guy cross-dressed. Omega still have to conform to traditional masculinity most of the time, but are also paradoxically expected to be obedient and wifely to their Alphas.

Most alphas like tall, brawny, masculine omegas because they consider they'll give them the best sons.

I know I have Cassandra being an alpha and Stephanie being a beta.. But I am going to make a fan fiction where their an omega couple and adopt a pup from a cult that is a baby Cyclops (because if Greek gods exist in the DC Universe do do their monsters).. Once I get the motivation to do so.
