The first gay marriage ceremony in BL since Thailand legalized gay marriage and it was adorable. The whole ceremony was just wonderful to see and to enjoy. Plus, the bouquet was caught by the main gay couple. Beautiful.
I absolutely love this. @absolutebl I know you're not watching this one but this was so good.
We talk a lot about Best Parents in BL, but like... These vampire parents are coming for all the awards.
These parents are actively lying to the cops, helping their kids evade them, AND taking on the Evil Vampire HOA Government so their kids can go on Vampire Rumspringa in Human Land and fall in love and make vampire babies
Bravo to these vampire parents for reals. I love them.
In this year of bls we have omegaverse, mythical creature/reincarnation(!). There's also gonna be vampire and merman bl next year. Now all we need is to add a werewolf bl to make it a full circle.

Let me go on a tangent...
The number of items on the Thai Communal Wardrobe are quickly coming up to 160. Yes, one hundred and sixty. Out of these 160, FORTY THREE were worn in Only Friends. So it's highly likely that any new clothes that get added to the list will also have been worn in Only Friends. For example, recent additions include:
Top's shirt worn by Jane in The Trainee
Boeing's t-shirt worn by (I think) Chin (correct me if I'm wrong) in OMG! Vampire
And Atom's t-shirt (and Day's in Last twilight) worn by Phum in We Are.
Amongst several others.
Due to how prolific the clothes in Only Friends are on the communal wardrobe, I have screenshots of approx 95 other shirts, t-shirts, and sweaters worn by various characters in Only Friends just in case they're going to appear somewhere else at some point.
In no measure of my imagination would I have thought that the "Friends don't let friends go" t-shirt would be worn again in another series. I thought it had been made especially for the show, like the end t-shirts with the slogan "Only Friends Stay". But now I have to be open to the possibility that this too might reappear. Who knows!
Anyway, thank you for giving me an opportunity to talk about the communal wardrobe. I am mildly obsessed by it. I had thought the sharing of clothes between series was becoming less and less - it has felt like with the industry developing there have been more series with unique wardrobe designs (maybe with more money for new clothes rather than re-using old ones) - but even last week new clothes have popped up in different series barely days apart. For example:
Wandee Goodday ep 9 and eight days later The Trainee ep 2
and Wandee Goodday ep 10 and ONE DAY LATER Love Sea ep 5
It's never going to end, right? 😂
I am way more invested in OMG! Vampire than I should be because I latched onto the parents mentioning that the governor is gone and the general dismissing that the governor would do anything, so now I want to know who the governor is and where he's been.
Because I have not forgotten Pat has a force field or something around him, so vampires can't bite him even when he is distracted.
But also, this show IS color coded,
So I'm just going to use that as an excuse of why I like this show so far.
Phum is light coded.
Pat is dark coded.
And when Phum borrowed Pat's clothes, all he wore was black because that's all Pat has.
When he finally settled on a normal outfit, he combined the light and dark.
But there is also that red.
So I think Pat is the governor!
He wears all black like the other vampires do in Thailight (I cannot believe I wrote that without a hint of irony).
And the red keeps following him just it does the vampires.
Finally, how does his special drink serve as an alternative to blood?
Although the governor could be Kin because I don't think he is dead. I think he took his twin's life and tried to change his color.
Because next week he shows up in BLACK right in-between the color-coded boys (in love).
Like I mentioned, I'm way too invested in this show, but I don't care. Pat, are you the governor? Blink twice for yes.
