So Fandom Fic Rec Days was last weekend and of course I forgot to make any posts, but I still wanted to recognize a fic that’s very important to me. Surfacing by @asthedayisfading was the first fanfic I ever read and it’s still my all time favorite. It takes place in season 3 after the Blye, K episodes and it’s just incredibly beautiful. It perfectly captures Kensi and Deeks on the brink of realizing but not yet admitting their feelings for each other and how important they know they are to each other.

If you haven’t read this story, take the time to read it now. And also, read everything else Jess has ever written too. She’s one of the best in the fandom and I’m so glad she shares her talent with us :)
