Its Fifth Year, and all Harry wants is a normal school year. It’s all anybody wants at this point. But with Umbridge running around, and a dark lord on the rise, it can be hard to achieve. The Sorting Hat has told them that now, more than ever, they need to work together. Can Harry and Draco help jumpstart the process? Between Quidditch games and trying to take down Umbridge, how is Harry going to work in a love life and still make time for best friends Ron and Hermione?
Or the one where Draco needs help, and as much as he hates to admit it, Harry needs him just as him as Draco does.
Ok, so I just finished reading this and OHMYGOD it was so good. You guys don’t know how impatient I am about the sequel being completed.
But anyway about the story.
Harry and Draco’s relationship is just so sweet, and so real. They love each other so so much, and they show each other in the sweetest of ways. Of course they have their differences, and they have a spat or two, but they get through it and UGH!! I need to read the second one so bad.
And the friendships are amazing! Everyone is so accepting o everyone, don’t want to say much on that so you’ll have to read it.
One of my favourite tropes for drarry is them being together during hogwarts. But most if not all that I’ve read have been 8th year. Which I still absolutely love! But there’s something about the innocence of a younger relationship that is just so sweet. Draco and Harry (to me at least) act more mature for their age (15) here, but with the war coming (no I’m not spoiling, it’s set during fifth year, you all know what happens), I feel that they are kind of forced to grow up faster, which the author shows beautifully in this piece of work.
So stop what you’re doing, take a break, and read this fic, because it’s the best that I’ve read in a while.
