got letterboxd last night, watched twilight with my roommate and neighbor, and then binge-watched all 12 episodes of cherry magic. fire, fire and, erm, yes, FIRE !!!!!

AU where Jaime and Brienne are Tolkien nerds but Brienne's family is still known as "the Evenstars" by the older people in her neighborhood (listen, my great-grandfather earned himself the dialectal equivalent of Three-Skins as a name bc he kept Not Dying when he should and some older friends of my mom's keep jokingly calling her that to this day - weird bynames STICK) and Jaime teases her A Lot when he finds out. Like, "I thought you were my Eowyn but I'm not complaining if you're my Arwen."

And Brienne thinks it's such a stupid joke, but on the other hand it's kind of nice to be compared to not just one but two beautiful, graceful, and brave characters she actually likes WITHOUT the guy ever turning it into a joke about her looks? Also because by now she knows that Jaime is attracted to both those and her personality? So she tolerates it... and maybe hints she won't cosplay either Arwen or Eowyn anytime soon but she wouldn't be opposed to seeing HIM in one of their movie dresses. (I can't believe I had a Dumb Nerdy AU literally staring me in the face and never even realized it until now.)
