Guyssss ...after watching episode 9...I think...I think I freaking ship Haru x Ryo. OMG LOOK AT RYO’S FACE! LOOK AT HIS SOFT SMILING FACE I JUST CAN’T...😍😍😍

Ryo been so salty all along towards his senpai but then he finally warmed back up to him and that smile he gives Haru...and then him talking sentimentally about Haru to Daisuke with that gentle smile...aklflghdshgdshgkdszh 🥺🥺

My heart is going to melt. Ryo is too precious. But Haru has always been so patient with Ryo and I just...okay I’ll stop now...💕

the question, in truth, surprises him, evident in both his expression— mouth parted and eyes wide as he pauses in his steps to turn and look at her— and the slight twitch of his ears before they settle back, shyly. it isn't that he hasn't been asked something similar before; he is nothing if not persistent in his passions and in his research among the students of baldesion. but, to be asked such by her? it feels wrong somehow.

after all, isn't she an even greater example of perseverance, a scion in her own right? surely she knows the answer better than him.

he smiles, flushing slightly. regardless, it is a compliment. a moment later, though, he finds his footing, eyeing her with a mischievous sort of toothy grin. " you're asking me? i should think you already know. look at how tirelessly you have worked at your accomplishments. "

"Attack...?" He blinked, equally confused for a long second before it clicked. He sank down into his seat to hide his heating face and avoid eye contact. How had his hollow's thoughts been totally innocent while his had taken a trip straight into the gutter? "Stop talking and watch the movie."

"Eh?" Shaking his head in a subtle, still uncomprehending way, he continued to stare at Ichigo. Though the bubble of ire that had been worming into his mind fizzled out again as he watched Ichigo’s reaction. Too fixated on figuring out what was going on, he completely ignored Ichigo’s request and arched pale brows as he asked, "If tha’s not what it was, than what?"
