university hit me too hard but it’s finally calming down so i couldn’t resist applying plus i’ve always had a weakness for gang rps so i was excited when i saw this place! i’m steph and under the cut is some info on jonghee ~

tw: rape, death

jonghee is 25 and the communicator of the spades

he joined the gang officially when he was 22 but was unofficially with the gang since he was 20. 

he studied abroad in France for his high school years and came back to his family owing a shit ton of money to the spades and them wanting his little sister as payment since they couldn't afford to pay 

he offered himself instead of his sister and that’s how he ended up being one of the co leaders of the spades’s pet for 2 years. He was just used for sex and showing off and didn’t have any importance/role in the gang besides that

2 years after the co leader brought him to the gang, the co leader was killed by another gang member who had his eyes on jonghee. (of course he was later killed because of that)

jonghee did small jobs here and there for the gang because they didnt know what to do with him and the co leader had bragged a lot about his skills. He proved himself and eventually worked his way up to communicator for the gang.

he was looked down upon a lot and he eventually got really pissed off and showed to everyone not to mess with him. so while his previous position as a simple pet stayed in most’s minds, they now avoid any conflict with him

jonghee’s a family man and is really loyal, once you earn his trust/respect you can count on him

he dislikes the higher ups of the spade tho but since the one he hated is dead and he’s in too deep to get out of the gang, he decided to be loyal to them and stay 

Jonghee is fluent in korean, mandarin, japanese, french, english, spanish and german (he was offered a scholarship to almost all top universities in korea beore he dropped it all to save his sister)

jonghee’s the type to say harsh words with a bright smile on his face and is known for being antisocial and hard to work with. he does his job really well but when he’s not working....leave him alone pretty much lol

will probably treat anyone who reminds him of his sister extra well tbh

doesn’t get pissed of easily but will beat the shit out of you if you try to sleep with him because of that asshole co leader lol :’)

i do want some angst love for him tho bc i like torturing my muses

despite being the leader of the black cats and most thinking she’s either a witch or satanist - she doesn’t have any actual magical powers or ties to the spirit world. unless you count what she does with the dead, that is. she has a great knowledge of how to destroy and break a body down, and runs a crime-cleanup crew within the black cats ranks. her reputation of being able to make a human disappear without a trace earned her the title of the vulture. but that’s not the only way she’s similar to a vulture- when it comes to her male romantic interests at least, she has exceptionally high standards and tends to pick them apart until they’re nothing but bone and marrow, focusing mostly on their flaws. 

in kyunghee’s eyes, being a witch doesn’t have to necessarily mean to harness arcane powers- it’s a lifestyle, it’s an attitude. an attitude that kyunghee most definitely has. she’s a mother hen with a love for all things broken and twisted. she’s a powerful woman, and enjoys being surrounded with like-minded women as a result. but don’t worry- if you’re not the best you can be, under kyunghee’s watch she’ll ensure you soon will be. 

fun facts: 

even w/ her reputation of being able to make people disappear, that’s only if you’re already dead. mostly. if you’re a high-ranking gang member, she won’t have much of a hold over you - something that drives her crazy

she likes knowing the Tea, and if there’s a new powerful face rising in the busan crime world she’ll want to know who you are and what you’re capable of immediately

she’s not much of a 1 on 1 fighter, and prefers to do her fighting from the shadows. but if you take her on, beware, she’s very nimble and dexterous. throwing knives are her weapon of choice, and she won’t hesitate to throw one at your head if you choose your words carelessly.

comes from a rich family

she has trouble showing affection to the people she cares about in Conventional ways

if she cares about you, expect her to meddle in your life to an extreme extent. you just might not always know that she is

has high standards when it comes to most things, and likes having her members have the Best of the Best.

honestly ... she doesn’t like most men ?? especially if they’re push overs. she thinks men are one-track minded and easy to manipulate. but there are definitely exceptions to the rule.

while she may seem like an icy bitch at first (and she definitely is) that’s not always how she is. she has a softer and humorous side too. a very 8 dimensional woman !! she has a dark sense of humor and appreciates puns too

he’s a walking disaster ...... his intentions may be good 90% of the time but he always finds a way to mess sh*t up for either himself or u somehow

king of injuring himself and things around him

he’s a drug manufacturer / supplier, and he takes pride in his work. he can brush off insults directed at him personally like it’s nothin but if u insult his product he gets pissy lmao

youngbae was brought up by a single mother and has never met his father. his mother had always been transparent about the fact that youngbae was an unplanned pregnancy (tho she phrased it more tactfully thn that) and so he’s never been too pressed about it. kids in school bullied him for it, but his mom had always loved him ennough for both parents??

so imagine how shaken he was when his mom was diagnosed with lung cancer :’ )

they’d been trying chemo and other holistic treatments, but she was losing a lot of weight fast and youngbae could tell she was withering away. so he took things into his own hands and started growing his own medical marijuana because he knew doing it legally wasn’t an option unless they moved outside of korea

youngbae isn’t the best gambler in the spades (it’s a title he affords to their leader) but he’s more skilled than the average player. he’ll try to charm your pants off with his dimples and eyesmile, but before you know it he’ll be leaving with a duffelbag full of your money

youngbae could be at a nice college studying right now but he’s decided this is a better use for his time, as he can make a lot of money fast and he wants his mom to live as comfortably as possible. he normally deals around the casino, but you can spot him lingering around in the neutral zones lookin’ fashionable and shady as fuck

i wont lie, he was super nerdy when he was younger

he might seem like a Soft boy because f how protective he is of his family but he’s capable of being an asshole just like everyone else

he’s a lover, scholar, but not much of a fighter. still, whenever he does fight someone it’s with a pair of brass knuckles.

older, conservative people wouldn’t guess he’s a genius because of his dyed hair, tattoos n fashion sense but that’s just another thing that irritates him. he hates how superficial people are but .. he’s no stranger to a pretty face

someone that he tries to talk out of bad ideas but often ends up going along with anyway

Hey, everyone! Sorry for the very very late intro! I’m Ember, 18 and in EST. School has been hitting me like a ton of bricks but now I have a bit more free-time so I allowed some buds to convince me to apply. Backstory

he started out being raised by his father who treated him like the sun

mom had basically abandoned him when he was born and left his dad

grew up in a modest by nice home

that is, until mom decided she wanted the kid for extra cash

a court dispute ensued when yongjoon was 15

he didn’t really think much of it? how could a crazy bitch win him over when his father took really good care of him

but one day his father came out of court really pale

something was said that day that he still has no idea about

and he ended up with his prostitute mom who didn’t even clothe him

got beaten up all the time by the men she brought home

there were several times where he had to sleep on the stairs outside their apartment because he was locked out

the only thing that really kept him going were his father’s letter (he would send cash to yongjoon because he knew his mom wouldn’t give him any)

however it wasn’t enough to support himself so he had to find a way to make money

by 17 he had started doing shady deals with a group of even shadier people

wasn’t very efficient though?? the people he was with were complete meatheads

picks up smoking in attempt to get rid of the weighing guilt on his mind

during one of his scams, a member of The Prodigal Sons ends up spotting Yongjoon because of his smooth way with words

was originally going to get the shit beaten out of him but talked his way out of it and the PS realized he could be useful

offers him almost two times what he was making with the idiots he was with

ofc he took the offer he isn’t that stupid

eventually became a little weasel communicator

made enough money to support himself and have a nice car

after a few years in the gang he’s made himself known and gotten away from his mother. better than he could’ve hoped for

Personality

because of his near PTSD moments, Yongjoon took up smoking and now has to smoke constantly or he won’t know what to do with himself

will flirt shamelessly with anyone

though for him it’s all in good fun? another form of conversation

will make you laugh if it’s the last thing he does

he has the ability to get along with anyone if he pleases

can morph to fit any person’s personality type

has such a nice aura???? like pls stop smiling so much

however his gang is everything to him

mess with PS and flip a switch in him sweet baby jesus

he secretly likes being provoked but only because it happens so rarely

such a down-to-earth guy

likes to give out genuine compliments

‘wow you look so stunning when you smile’ but says it with such an innocent face

Yongjoon is just a good guy who somehow ended up in a gang that became his family

Hi !! Hello !! My name is Leesi, which is pronounced Lacie. And I am beyond excited for this rp !! I remember a time where I didn’t think I could join gang rp’s because they just seemed so serious and I wasn’t used to playing chara’s like that or being able to follow that sort of theme but!! I’m a lot more confident in my abilities so I hope you guys see that in my writing as well. I go by she/her pronouns and my timezone is EST. I am certified Seventeen trash™ just so you guys are informed. I’m too excited for this tbh and I can’t wait to get accustomed to my character and plot with you all and I’m just really happy now <33. But anyways! I will stop rambling now and get on to my son Wang Bing Wen (thank you to the admins for the inspiration for him).

Right so Bing Wen was raised with a mother and father who were practically nomads.

They moved around a lot and didn’t seem to remain in one spot for more than a few months.

Bing Wen didn’t really get it at first but at some point he seemed to stop asking questions when he realized his parents weren’t going to answer.

They were very secretive about pretty much everything.

He’s actually really well educated, he taught himself languages, how to read, write etc

And a lot of other information that you don’t expect a kid to know

 His parents weren’t the best at taking care of him really, they just seemed on edge at all times

At some point when they were living in an apartment not too close to other living people

There were people dressed in black who came and killed his parents right in his face

But he was able to sneak away before they noticed him

He was suffering for a few days ( like 2 or 3, not even a week tbh ) before the Zodiax just so ‘happened’ to have found him

Claiming to be friends of his parents and taking him to their hq to become an official member and all that shit

The people who had killed his parents were actually the Zodiax, which is interesting because he’s now apart of the Zodiax

The reason they killed his parents was because they had ran away from the job ( mostly because of his mother suddenly becoming pregnant with Bing and then rash decisions were made )

But he is currently not aware of this at all.

Bing Wen is probably the guy you shouldn’t trust but you do anyways because it just seems right. 

He makes you feel as if you’re safe and you can trust him. 

But it’s pretty easy for him to stab you in the back without you knowing.

 Bing Wen is best described as shady, he’s quiet and reserved but he’s still known for his ability to erase information like it’s nothing.

But it’s a known fact that even if he’s not loyal to some people he would even consider his best of friends, it’s not the same with The Zodiax. 

He would lay his life down for them although he’s pretty good at appearing indifferent to them.

His best quality is reading people and sometimes he doesn’t even need to say a thing before they were admitting their darkest secrets to him.

He’s the Body Cleanup/ Cleaner of the Zodiax. 

I got vibes from Taemin’s new album so a lot of Bing Wen is inspired by that.

Let the games begin, under this are some facts about him.

His real name is unknown, only members of their clan know each other’s name

Due to the fact that he was home-schooled and protected up until college years, his social skills aren’t good. Meaning, you either meet him as an asshole or as an immature asshole, maybe a block-headed joker from time to time

He gets along with people from his gang in a sense that he orders you around a lot. He’s good at taking care of his members that listen to him, he hates member that disobey him.

Yes, he looks down on everyone, excluding his family or deity descendants.

You won’t notice he looks down on you because he jokes around with everyone, that is if you didn’t meet him in his co-leader mode.

He has 3 categories for people: Nice (peeps like him), bearable (mostly his gang members or colleagues/the 2 friends limit), and trash (everyone else) .

People who give him Kitkat move from trash to bearable

If you make fun of his mask/noseband he likes you

The official public reason for his noseband/mask is that he has a horrible scar, the non-official and joking reason is that he’s a shy wallflower

He’s rarely seen in casinos because either he manages them and/or often instructs rookies/members on how to play. But, when he’s the one playing you all should prepare for defeat with a big hole in your wallets (unless you’re a Spades member of course)

May I introduce Song Junho to you all (i recently played him in another rp but it didn’t last long at all and i’ve been wanting to revive this fool since), he’s a tough cookie who thinks he’s better than he is, so give him no love pls. 

TW: Murder, Minor Gore

Was brought up in a normal home. Normal parents, normal house, those neighbours who would rant if you kicked a ball over the fence and would refuse to allow you to retrieve it. Like, nuclear family type shit. 

Boi had mad caring parents fam. 

Went to a normal school but had no friends because the little shit isolated himself for literally no reason

Guess it was learnt?? Since his parents were constantly leaving home and dropping him on nannies and whoever else

He started resenting his parents for that reason since he had nobody to teach his morals and all that jazz, so he learnt through the whole “children see children do” fiasco.

Child saw shit, child became a shit.

Cue teenage Junho (wow angst of the highest degree), comes out of the kitchen after waiting for his dearest parents to come home, wielding a knife. 

Next thing you know, he’s an orphan after having hacked up his folks (talk about respecting your elders)

The neighbours probably heard screaming since I imagine they were nosy shits, and came to investigate. Saw the mess, called the police, and smol shit was arrested

I mean, he was a minor so his punishment was barely anything

So he continued doing what he was doing, and became a murderer because why the fuck not, a kid’s gotta entertain himself somehow you know

Knives were his little babies and he kinda trained himself to use them properly. He was still smol, this was all he had

Eventually just got into assassinations because he was bored and needed an excuse to butcher. Plus, I mean, money

That also became boring after a while (talk about a hard heart to tame), and he stumbled upon the black cats

Basically the definition of “became a murderer for literally no reason but went with it for the banter”.

Personality

An actual little shit, like sometimes even I sit here and urge myself not to mentally slap the shit out of him
