KISS KISS FALL IN LOVE
William and Amber during Invincible war
Poor babies bout to be abducted by some lovesick mentally ill variants of their friend *wink wink*
I will be honest
I don’t like Omni/Amber in how people in fandom tend to portray them when they keep Amber the same as how we saw her in main universe
A GIRL THAT LOVED AND CARED FOR PEOPLE ENOUGH TO SPEND HER FREE TIME AT SOUP KITCHENS, VOLUNTEER WORK AND BEING AN ACTIVIST WOULD NOT GO FOR A MURDERER THAT HATES HER FRIEND AND TRIES TO KILL HER ON SIGHT
However if you change some things about Amber since it is a parallel universe…
Idea of there being a universe out there where Amber is one who pursues/keeps relationship with one of the evil Mark variants specifically to use him to shape the world how she sees would be best for everyone and him (un)knowingly following her lead because he is such a WHIPPED puppy for her…
Evil with good intentions Amber UGHHHH
dawg... i love them so MUCH 😔
Rex walks through Mark's back door, absolutely annoyed, tired, and angry as hell as he grumbles and groans.
“You should get those injuries checked out. Humans take a rather long time to heal, and those seem dire,” a voice said with emotionless efficiency.
“Yeah, well you should shut the fuck up. God, you're giving me a headache,” Rex groaned as he fell on the kitchen counter.
“Where the fuck is Mark when you need him?” he said.
The front door opened, revealing William tired and covered in ashes. “Look, this is a long shot. I don't even know if he's here,” William said, trying to shove Mark. His mask was gone, though Rex cared little about it. Mark's face was pushed forward as William gagged, as if mark was sniffing him.
“Thank God, about time you showed up. Listen, I got a situation you need to solve,” Rex muttered, then pointed to the Mark behind him in an all-white suit, not even a speck of blood on it, which was both impressive and creepy considering the amount of people he killed.
The maskless Mark looked up, confused. “You stayed too?” he asked.
William looked back and forth at Rex, then at the other Mark. “Wait, wait—what's going on? Why are you here, and why is he here?”
Rex opened his mouth but stopped when both him and William heard the sound of the window opening. Both Marks turned to look upstairs where there was muttering.
“Will you shut it?” a feminine voice demanded as she came down Eve followed by Mark with a mohawk.
“Mark, are you here? Your phone was left here, so I'm not quite sure…” Eve stopped and then stared at Rex.
“Rex, what happened? Why are you here—and William?” Eve said, even more shocked.
“Hey,” William waved.
Eve turned to see the other two Marks. She raised her hand, and the two were trapped in tight-wound rope.
“Woah, this Mark's with me,” Will said.
Rex scoffed. “This one's cool for now not that I’ll stop you if you wanted.”
Eve sighed and pinched her nose. Then laughter. “Holy fuck, you guys really stayed,” Mohawk mocked. “Wow, couldn't stay away from you're, baby pets, for five seconds.”
“This is coming from the man who has five different girls that look like Eve,” Maskless whispered. Mohawk's face flushed.
There was a crash as the roof was destroyed.
“Shit!” William screamed. He's quickly saved by Maskless. While Viltrumite grabbed Rex, turning around and protecting him by using his back as a shield.
“Okay, I admit that was a bit too much,” Omni-Mark said as he stood in the middle holding an annoyed Amber.
“Oh yeah, it's almost as if I told you that,” Amber said.
“Seriously, you too?” Mohawk said.
Amber looked to Eve. “Hey, Eve,” she said, then to a still slightly shocked William. “Hey, Will.”
“Where's Mark?” Amber asked.
“That's what we're wondering,” Eve responded.
More inspo thanks to @barbara-gordons-glasses's gorgeous brain
After the Variants war is over, instead of getting stranded on the dessert they all go to their respective universes...except some of them don't really have anywhere to go because their universes went to shit.
So they end up following the best adjusted out of them, Omni-Mark to his house, where he lives with Amber, who comes down to meet not only his fiancee whom she was separated from for over a year but also a group of identical twins of his with varying looks of mental disorders and like they came straight out of a war.
Amber: "...I need context."
Omni: "They followed me. I couldn't stop them. They're glued to my ass now."
Because Omni gives off grumpy but responsible big brother vibes and none of those tricks know what a reliable authority figure feels like, so they stick to him. And so Omni and Amber end up being reluctant parents/older siblings to the variants and let them crash on their house at least once per week because they're bored or need a place to stay.
Maskless and Full mask are the favourites because they're the best behaved and probably have their own rooms there. Shiesty is also favoured because he low-key respects Omni so he knows better.
Sinister and Mohawk sleep outside, next to each other, by Amber's orders. Omni agrees. They don't want those two sleeping near them, or anywhere near the house for that matter.
Emperor Mark is tolerable until he brings that stunt of "I wouldn’t even keep you as a slave in my empire", in which Amber would proceed to beat him up with a show and kick him out.
She feels bad for Prisoner Mark, so she feeds him and lets him sleep on the couch, but wouldn't tolerate his shit either.
No goggles Mark is a little shit but as long as he doesn't break anything, he's not really bothersome. Just annoyingly loud and chatty.
