đ˘They have similar backstory to Eve of being made in the lab but unlike her they never got to escape the government
đ˘They have HORRIBLE attachment to each other. Their relationship dynamic is meant to be human equivalent of a âlittermate syndromeâ in puppies. Itâs basically when you pick up two puppies from the same litter and because of stress from being put in a new environment and having each other as the only familiar presence and comfort they will develop extreme codependency, separation anxiety and fear-based aggression towards others including the owners. That is to say they only have each other and treat others at best with neutrality at worst with open aggression. VERY unpleasant to deal with in their own regards and actively push people away.
đ˘Vic is the barely older one! And she is also the golden/gifted child of the two. Her power was the reason why their project was created in the first place and Nic was an accident during the cell devision which makes them maternal/identical twins.
đ˘Both of their names mean a win. Victoria (victorious) and Nicole (victory of the people). The names were picked by their father lead scientist on their project, who was VERY confident that the twins will be successful attempt at developing someone with Vicâs ability. Which sounds fine until you realize itâs basically the equivalent of naming your essay âthis one is going to be A+â đ

đ˘Vic is a big animal lover! She can kinda use her powers to communicate with animals by transferring them her thoughts through touch or receiving them. She often finds liking animals way more than people.
đ˘Nic is a nerd. Her power is very dependent on her visual/auditorial/sensory/etc library so she watches a lot of movies and tv shows, plays tons of video games, reads so many comic books in her free time. And since she literally has no life outside of missions and training for GDA itâs safe to say she has significant collection up in her head
đ˘Originally I created twins because the fact that practically every super power in Invincible is very much power based or very oriented towards combat really annoyed me. I made the girls from first concepts of their powers and how they could work together while not even slightly increasing their physical stats but still can be utilized in extremely useful ways and have the same amount of importance as typical Viltrumite power set if not more
đ˘Twins are meant to represent different types of ways our brains can deal with trauma. Nic represents maladaptive daydreaming to the maximum exaggeration. Vic is dissociative amnesia where she stores so many memories in her head by this point she is often struggling to tell apart which are hers and which are others.
đ˘Vic often has to check through Nic memories to try to clear her head on who she is because her sense of self is so weak she can only see herself through eyes of her sister. And Nicâs sense of identity entirely revolves around being Vicâs sister. Twins quite literally unable to perceive themselves without the other
đ˘For the âmainâ timeline, Vic is tasked with spying on Mark disguised as his classmate, friend and later girlfriend to check his memories and ensure he isnât involved with Omni-man and whatever plan he put in place after killing the guardians. The rest I hope to show later on
đ˘Vic is heavily medicated on various psych drugs to keep her mental state in check enough so she wonât pose as a threat to herself or others due to how much her head is rotting from all the traumas stored in there
đ˘Both twins have small healing factor! Their regeneration is not nearly strong enough to keep them from dying in the field in case of fatal injury/severe bleeding but it absolutely shortens the recovery time after the fact with proper medical treatment. However, Vicâs body is constantly battling with side effects of all of the drugs in her system (+her harmful habits like chain smoking) so her healing is basically nullified to basic human one if she gets injured. For same reason Nic heals way better since she lives a fairly decent life style without drinking, smocking, proper diet, regular physical activity. That being said she is also way more likely to get injured because she works as a regular field soldier
