WAIT TELL US ABOUT SPIDER MAN AUBREY

I haven't actually thought on her that much! I might design her one of these days, but since she takes the role of gwen (which i love don't get me wrong), I've only kind of focused on the action and the villains for some reason...

But yeah! Aubrey's cool, I really want to design her.

if yall want anything more specific as in, idk "what she thinks of [thing]" i can probably tell you! i just don't exactly know what to talk about on her in this.

i will mention tho, this au isn't really based on ships, and more on relationships between the characters. so no, this isn't a sunburn au or anything. if we do decide to do ships... we'll see (prolly not sunburn cus i don't personally ship it that much but, again, we'll see!)

Spoilers here so heads up, but I'm finding it ironic that Sunny is Spiderman, given the whole arachnophobia situation in-game. Out of curiosity, will you be implementing any of the featured phobias from Omori the game into the Spiderman AU--or maybe Omori himself if he's involved?

don't think so, this is pretty much an everything is fine au, except for when it's not, of course (sunny doesn't end up isolating himself for 4 years, and basil ends up...yknow). But it's also putting the characters in a completely different setting (that of a big city). The friendgroup isn't as close as they are in the main game, either. They all know each other, ofc, but it's not so much as canon. (i might make a little chart if relationships come into discussion!)

i do plan for omori to be his own character, taking the role of chameleon, i do need to design that but i thought it'd be a cool concept.

i'll think more on the phobias, it *would* be pretty cool if either they were their own villains or illusions made by whoever ends up being mysterio... thanks anon!

and also, sunny isn't really that scared of spiders in this. he dislikes the bug itself, sure but he was bitten by one that gave him power, so he's a bit conflicted on it. he's still spiderman tho. yes he's scared of certain things but he wasn't as exposed to them as in main game (for example, thalasstophobia isn't a huge thing because he never fell in a lake cause of a spider or anything like that).

another idea would also be bringing new phobias in this, who knows...

Ok, discarding previous ask with her role, how's Mari dealing with all of that?

Mari is.... conflicted.

She sort of takes on an MJ equivalent role; not exactly, of course, she's Sunny's sister, but she knows about Hero's anger and got upset at him for it.

So she realizes who Venom is pretty quickly... and she's conflicted. She's still mad about what he said about Sunny, but she doesn't want him to end up as nothing but a villain...

She doesn't know what to think.
