Finally I can reveal the first finish pot for the ‘Gatherers’ show @omvedgardens which has been put together by Claire @throwncontemporary gallery. I have been using range of different approaches to the project inspired by the materials gathered as well as contemporary and historical social narratives connected to the OmVed site. This particular series of stoneware pots have been influenced by the current use of the site as a place that celebrates food and plant growth, these stoneware food storage jars are adorned with some lovely pieces of wood that I foraged on site.
